Franklin Area Health & Fitness Center Wins Award for Commitment to Excellence and Business Growth

Oct. 13, 2009 | 0 comments

Franklin, WI, October 12, 2009: Tim Beyer, owner and operator of Innovative Health & Fitness and InVitalize Advanced Skincare & Medi-Spa in Franklin, Wisconsin is the latest proud recipient of the Wind Lake Chamber of Commerce’s Outstanding Business Award. Beyer was listed in the July 31st edition of The Business Journal, Milwaukee in a report of the Largest Milwaukee-Area Fitness Centers. Beyer has increased membership at Innovative Health and Fitness, where he has owned and managed since 2002, by 15.2% since the list published in January, 2008 by The Business Journal. This was the biggest increase in the top 15 fitness centers that were ranked. The next biggest increase was only 12% and 6.1%. In a slumbering economy, this is quite impressive! Beyer is also a very generous giver when it comes to community work. He help to coordinate the Wind Lake Chamber Chase, a 10k run, this year and has made light work of it for the Board of Directors. Not only has Beyer been working hard to increase his business and planning the Chamber Chase, he has been actively coaching some fellow Wind Lake Chamber members to take better care of themselves and to get fit.

The Outstanding Business Award not only recognizes exceptional business growth but commitment to strengthening the Wind Lake Chamber of Commerce, fellow Chamber members, businesses, business opportunities within the Wind Lake area and/or to serving the citizens of the Wind Lake area. The Wind Lake Chamber of Commerce represents all types of businesses and organizations located in or around the Wind Lake area in Racine County. Beyer, who is a Wind Lake resident, employs 87 people at his fitness center and spa in Franklin and believes in giving back to the community and supporting the local economy

Innovative Health & Fitness is far from the average health club. Their goal is to provide a complete and holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle. That's why such a wide range of services to best fit the 5,400 member’s needs is offered including personal training, family fun time, child care, skin care, message therapy, over 80 exercise classes per week, a pro-shop, café, swim lessons and free injury screenings by a physical therapist. The club is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the International Health Racket and Sports Club Associations. Beyer’s facility works cooperatively with the City of Franklin Health Department and helps to generate revenue for the Franklin Education Foundation by hosting an annual run/walk in May.
