The Franklin Sabers 12U Baseball team has started their season with a 3 - 1 record in the Wisconsin State Youth Baseball League. The Sabers beat the New Berlin Magic 13 - 10, beat Racine Erickson 17 - 4, and beat the Muskego Strom 14 - 5. The Sabers lost a heart breaker to the Muskego Warriors 9 - 6 after being up the entire game. Next up for the Sabers are the undefeated Kenosha Merchants.
The Sabers are hitting the ball very well this year and the pitching has been very good in most outings. The Sabers play their home games at Froemming Park in Franklin and at Zablocki Park (Joe Harden Field) in Milwaukee. Good luck this season Sabers.
The Franklin 12U roster is as follows: Ian Spaay, Aaron Simmons, Chase Hoppe, Kyle Lewis, Carson Manning, Ryan Zakszewski, Matt McKenna, Jay Piotter, Drew Schwartz, Tyler Haskins, Marcus Lee.
