Visit Santa At Boerner Botanical Gardens Holiday Celebration Sunday, Dec. 5

Nov. 27, 2010

There's no better way to get into the holiday spirit! The annual Holiday Celebration at Boerner Botanical Gardens will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5.

Come for crafts, story time with Milwaukee children's book author Lois Ehlert, holiday carols with student performers from the African American Children's Theatre (caroling begins at 1 p.m.), and a visit with Santa. Activities are just $5 per child.

You can also enjoy the Bartolotta Holiday Gingerbread Brunch with admission to the celebration. Please contact Bartolotta Catering at 414-525-5635 for brunch reservations.

While at Boerner, be sure to visit the gift shop to browse a unique selection of holiday gifts. Many handmade items are available from local artisans including Faith Ann Originals and Candrima Soy Candles. There will also be a chocolate tasting from Indulgence Chocolatiers.

The event is made possible by the Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens. The gardens are located at 9400 Boerner Drive in Hales Corners. Please call 414-525-5659 with any questions.
