The Falcons left no doubt as to where the Woodland Conference's best triple jumpers reside.
Pablo Bras (41-1), Ben Schaefer (39-9) and Sawyer Nelson (39-5) turned in the top three efforts in leading Whitnall to a win in the triple jump relay at the league relay meet at South Milwaukee on May 4.

Additional conference relay titles came from the girls 3,200-meter team of Mary Erickson, Katherine Crivello, Leah Windt and Danika Johnson in 10 minutes, 31.78 seconds; the girls 1,600 in 4:16.16; the boys high-jump unit of Joel Stave, Luke Rutowski and Jake Lehmann; and the boys long jump squad of Jake Streim, Nelson and Bras.

An exciting seventh-inning comeback helped Oak Creek settle for a split against visiting Kenosha Tremper on May 6.
In the bottom of the seventh inning of the first game with the Knights trailing, 6-5, Oak Creek loaded the bases with one out. Ally Sneed drove in the tying run with a groundout and pinch-hitting freshman Katie Parsons drove in the winning run by drawing a six-pitch, bases-loaded walk.
Tremper took the lead, 6-5, with three unearned runs in the top of the sixth inning.
The Knights were not as fortunate in the nightcap and lost, 8-3.
"We failed as a team and were clearly outplayed by the better team in game two," Oak Creek coach Nathan Vance said. "There is no other option than to move forward, but some soul-searching is going to have to happen from the coaches, seniors, captains all the way to the last player on the bench. Actions speak louder than words, but don't be surprised to hear from this team again before it's all over."
The Knights were dominant in a doubleheader sweep of Racine Horlick at Douglas Park in Racine on May 4. Oak Creek won, 15-0 and 10-0.
In the first game, Alyssa Sirocchi drove in two with two hits and Katie Koepsel walked three times, tripled and drove in two. Ally Stanke picked up the pitching win with six strikeouts and four hits allowed over four innings.
In the nightcap, Olivia Ahlbom struck out six in six innings while allowing only four hits for the Knights, who began this week 10-5 overall, 6-3 conference.
