The Knights managed just one goal in a 2-1, season-opening loss, and it came thanks to a New Berlin West player.
West booted in an own goal in the 52nd minute after Charlie Duff and Hlu Vang gave the Vikings a 2-0 lead in the first half at West on Friday.
Tennis
The Knights went 2-2 at the 16-team South Milwaukee/Oak Creek Invitational from Aug. 18 to 19.
Oak Creek opened with a 5-2 win over Grafton before getting shut out by eventual champion Muskego, 7-0.
In the consolation round, the Knights lost to Wauwatosa West and defeated Cudahy.
