Franklin police seek women who brawled at child's birthday party

July 9, 2013

Franklin — Police are looking to arrest three women for disorderly conduct after they began brawling during a child's birthday party at a play center in the city Saturday.

According to the Franklin police log:

An employee at Jump Zone, 6544 S. Lovers Lane Road, called 911 at 5 p.m. July 6 to report that three women were fighting.

According to witnesses, two of the women sustained injuries during the fight after one of the women struck the other with a stainless steel coffee pot, and the other woman struck her with a fire extinguisher that had been pulled off a wall.

Employees stated all the women knew each other and were at the play center for a child's birthday party.

The women fled in three vehicles — a black Tahoe-type vehicle, a light blue SUV and a blue Dodge Durango — before police arrived.

All three women are wanted for disorderly conduct and vandalism.
