THEFT

1A 19-year-old employee was arrested for stealing a customer's checkbook at Sam's Club, 6705 S. 27th St., at 11:05 a.m. Sept. 17.

2A purse was stolen out of a locked vehicle at Innovative Health & Fitness, 8800 S. 102nd St., before 11:20 a.m. Sept. 17. A rear window was broken to gain access.

3A $25,000 Rolex watch, a $38,000 diamond ring, a $4,000 diamond ring and a $5,000 wedding band were stolen from a home in the 9300 block of South 46th Street between 9 p.m. Sept. 17 and 9 a.m. Sept. 18. An acquaintance of the victim is being sought for questioning.

4Eighteen cartons of Newport cigarettes were stolen at Andy's, 5120 W. Ryan Road, at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 18. The theft was captured on surveillance video.

5A 42-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, both of Milwaukee, were arrested for shoplifting medication, clothing and DVDs at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 1:40 p.m. Sept. 18.

6A man shoplifted $70 worth of merchandise at Target, 7800 S. Lovers Lane Road, Sept. 19. A Target employee told police the man carries a razor blade with him so he can remove merchandise from its packaging.

7A resident of the 3300 block of West Southland Drive reported the occupants of an early 1970s Ford Thunderbird pulled into his driveway and stole his garbage can at 6:10 a.m. Sept. 20.

8A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting a pair of headphones at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 1 p.m. Sept. 21.

9A man shoplifted $82 worth of merchandise at Target, 7800 S. Lovers Lane Road, Sept. 21. Surveillance video shows the man concealing items after removing them from packaging.

10A man stole eight bundles of roofing materials, a value of $240, at the Park Motel, 7273 S. 27th St., between Sept. 21 and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 22.

11A 36-year-old West Allis woman was arrested for shoplifting iPod accessories at Target, 7800 S. Lovers Lane Road, at 4 p.m. Sept. 22. She also was taken into custody on three Waukesha Police Department warrants and one Greendale Police Department warrant.

12A 31-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $68 worth of makeup and jewelry at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 4:40 p.m. Sept. 22.

13An iPhone was stolen at Goodwill Industries, 6941 S. Riverwood Blvd., before 6:20 p.m. Sept. 22.

14A tailgate, valued at $350, was stolen off a 2004 Dodge Ram in the lot at Root River Lanes, 7220 W. Rawson Ave., between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sept. 23.

15A 26-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting $84 worth of merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., shortly before 6 p.m. Sept. 23.

16A 53-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting $95 worth of batteries, clothing and razor blades at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 23.

DRUG POSSESSION

17A 22-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 9000 block of West Puetz Road at 6:05 p.m. Sept. 19.

18A 22-year-old Franklin man was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in the 8000 block of South Lovers Lane Road at 7 p.m. Sept. 22.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

19A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving and cited for speeding at Drexel Avenue and Loomis Road at 1 a.m. Sept. 20. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.15.

ACCIDENTS

20A 50-year-old Franklin woman was taken to the hospital with injuries after her car rolled over after being struck by a vehicle as she attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Rawson Avenue from 76th Street at 3:05 p.m. Sept. 14. The woman was cited for failure to yield the right of way, making an improper turn and driver condition (alcohol present in her system, BAC unknown).

21A 39-year-old Milwaukee woman was taken to the hospital after her car was rear-ended by a vehicle when she stopped her car on 27th Street near Riverwood Drive because of a rear-end accident that occurred in front of her at 12:42 p.m. Sept. 16. The driver of the striking vehicle, a 60-year-old Oak Creek woman, was cited for following too closely and a seatbelt violation.

22A 56-year-old Waukesha woman was taken to the hospital with injuries after her eastbound car was rear-ended by an SUV driven by a 40-year-old West Bend man at Ryan Road and 68th Street, causing her car to travel through the westbound lanes before coming to a stop in the 6800 block of South 68th Street shortly before 7 a.m. Sept. 19. The striking vehicle then rear-ended a second vehicle, causing it to strike a third car. The West Bend man was cited for inattentive driving.

23A 30-year-old Racine woman was arrested for hit and run of an occupied vehicle and drugged driving, second offense, and cited for driving left of the center line after she struck a vehicle on Lovers Lane Road and Rawson Avenue, then fled northbound on Highway 100 at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 23. She was stopped by Greenfield police in the parking lot at Applebee's, 2865 S. 108th St., and taken back to Franklin.

VANDALISM

24A pumpkin was used to smash a mailbox in the 7700 block of West Coventry Drive about 9:45 p.m. Sept. 20.

25A swastika and sexual images were spray-painted on the southeast side of a home in the 8900 block of South 76th Street between 1:30 and 5:30 a.m. Sept. 22. The person who made the graffiti also damaged two strings of walkway lights and yard ornaments and moved several lights, ornaments and two flower pots to the shoulder of South 76th Street. A city-owned reflector was damaged.

26Graffiti was spray-painted on the west wall of the bridge on the Oak Leaf bike trail in the 6000 block of West Puetz Road before 9 a.m. Sept. 23.

OTHER

27A 28-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, both of Muskego, were arrested for prowling after a witness reported two suspicious men in her neighbor's garage in the 6500 block of South 51st Street at 7:28 a.m. Sept. 21.

28An 18-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 8300 block of West Hill Top Lane at 10 p.m. Sept. 22.
