BURGLARY

1A 19-year-old man was arrested for burglary at 12:20 p.m. Sept. 10 after he was found at the Park Motel with property stolen from a home in the 3300 block of West Minnesota Avenue. He was taken into custody on three Hartford Police Department warrants for truancy and three Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office warrants for burglary and battery.

2Cash and jewelry were stolen from a home in the 6700 block of South 35th Street between 4 and 11:58 p.m. Sept. 15. A window next to the front door was broken to gain entrance.

3More than $20,000 and jewelry were stolen from a home in the 7200 block of South Stone Hedge Drive between 6:15 and 8:50 p.m. Sept. 16. A window on the front door was broken to gain entry, and the home security system was disabled by pulling the main box from the wall and tearing the wiring.

THEFT

4A Trek 4300 bicycle was stolen in the 8200 block of South 77th Street between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sept. 6.

5About 20 to 30 prescription anti-anxiety pills were stolen from a resident in the 6300 block of South 35th Street between 7 p.m. Sept. 7 and 6 p.m. Sept. 10. Police are questioning three suspects.

6Police are seeking a 30-year-old woman suspected of stealing a 2000 Buick Park Avenue from a man who was staying at the Skyway Motel, 8361 S. 27th St., between 1 and 6 a.m. Sept. 11.

7Two Milwaukee women, 21 and 20 were arrested for shoplifting, second offense, and trespassing at Walmart, 601 S. 27th St., shortly after 8 p.m. Sept. 11.

8An unidentified man stole a five-gallon bucket containing hand tools, valued at $1,500, from the bed of a pickup truck at 7-Eleven, 7610 W. Rawson Ave., between 10:55 and 11:05 a.m. Sept. 12. Loss is estimated at $1,500.

9Four iPads were stolen at Target, 7800 S. Lovers Lane Road, at 11:50 a.m. Sept. 12.

10A 68-year-old woman was arrested for attempting to pass a fraudulent $500 money order using false identification at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 12.

11Two Illinois men, 35 and 27, were arrested for stealing cardboard and pallets at OfficeMax, 7199 S. 76th St., at 5 a.m. Sept. 13. Officers also found five bales of cardboard that had been stolen from other locations.

12A 40-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting a $30 bottle of cologne at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 10:25 a.m. Sept. 13.

13A 33-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $35 worth of personal grooming products at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., shortly after 4 p.m. Sept. 13. This was the woman's sixth shoplifting offense.

14A 13-year-old boy and a 10-year-old boy were arrested for shoplifting after they were seen stealing pocketknives, condoms, hats and other items at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., shortly before 10 p.m. Sept. 13.

15A 20-year-old Greendale man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 1:40 p.m. Sept. 14.

16Police are seeking an unidentified man who attempted to shoplift a cart full of merchandise, valued at $704, from Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 14. The man is described as 6-feet tall, thin, white, in his 20s and wearing a red shirt and gym shorts and a Dale Earnhardt Jr. hat. He drove an orange and black 1968 Chevy Malibu.

17A caller reported $10,000 was stolen from the pocket of a pair of pants in his home in the 8500 block of West Lake Pointe Drive between 9 and 11:30 p.m. Sept. 14. The victim stated he took the money out of his bank at 5 p.m. Friday, but didn't have proof of the transaction. Police are investigating.

18A 31-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting $170 worth of clothing at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 4:35 p.m. Sept. 15.

19A 16-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 8:40 p.m. Sept. 15. A 31-year-old Milwaukee man also was arrested for shoplifting and taken into custody on a probation violation.

20A credit card was reported stolen from a home in the 3900 block of West College Avenue at 8:15 p.m. Sept. 16. The card had already been used at Speedway. Police are following up with a suspect.

ASSAULT

21A 25-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation after he reported being punched in the face by a 36-year-old South Milwaukee man at the Park Motel, 7273 S. 27th St., at 4:35 p.m. Sept. 16. Police cited the 36-year-old man for battery.

OTHER

22Two men who identified themselves as "cops" attempted to assault a man in a parking lot in the 3300 block of West Sycamore Street at 3:30 a.m. Sept. 16. The victim told police the two men "pulled him over" in the lot and pulled him out of his car, saying they were cops and were trying to get his drugs.

23A 39-year-old man was cited for misuse of 911 after he dialed 911 to report he wanted his roommate, whose name he didn't know, to leave his apartment in the 7200 block of South 51st Street at 6:40 p.m. Sept. 16.

Franklin police responded to one domestic violence call between Sept. 10 and Sept. 16.
