1Fifty feet of copper piping was stolen from a home in the process of being torn down in the 9600 block of West St. Martins Road between Aug. 18 and Sept. 8.
2Two jugs filled with change, valued at $3,000, a $300 gold pocket watch and $105 was stolen from a home in the 6000 block of West Hillside Court between 8 a.m. Aug. 27 and 11:15 a.m. Sept. 4. A basement window was ripped out to gain entry. Damage is estimated at $50.
3Costume jewelry was stolen from a home in the 4500 block of West Victory Creek Drive between 7 and 9:15 p.m. Sept. 4. A glass patio door was broken to gain entry.
4Four boxes of 12-inch tile and two bags of grout were stolen from a home under construction in the 3200 block of West Hidden Oaks Drive between 4 p.m. Aug. 30 and 8 a.m. Sept. 5. Loss is estimated at $225. Entry to the supplies was through an unlocked garage door. Burglars struck the home a second time and stole $1,380 worth of power tools and $640 in bronze light fixtures between 5 p.m. Sept. 5 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 6. In the second burglary, the locked garage door was forced open.
5A fire safe containing passports and other identification papers and a jewelry box containing $10,000 worth of jewelry were stolen from a home in the 3900 block of West Dory Drive between 6 p.m. Sept. 7 and 12:30 a.m. Sept. 8. A rear patio door was broken to gain entrance.
6About $75,000 worth of tools and equipment was stolen from S&S Auto Repair, 8853 S. 27th St., between 6:30 p.m. Sept. 7 and 2:30 p.m. Sept. 8. The back door was broken to gain entry.
7A $20,000 Rolex watch, $30,000 in cash and at least $10,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from a home in the 7500 block of West Pineberry Ridge between 7 and 9:30 p.m. Sept. 7. A side window next to the front door was broken to gain entry. Police and a canine officer searched the area but were not able to find any suspects.
8A laptop computer, a Blackberry phone and two flash drives were stolen from a locked motel room at the Park Motel, 7273 S. 27th St., between 3 and 7 p.m. Sept. 8. There were no signs of forced entry.
9A customer's smartphone was stolen while she was shopping at Sam's Club, 6705 S. 27th St., between 6 and 8 p.m. Aug. 28.
10A television, microwave, refrigerator and linens were stolen from a room at Sunrise Motel, 9347 S. 27th St., prior to 11 a.m. Sept. 3.
11A woman stole a cartload of merchandise at Target, 7800 S. Lovers Lane Road, shortly before 3:30 p.m. Sept. 3.
12A 25-year-old Hales Corners man was arrested for possession of stolen property after police discovered items in his possession that were stolen during a burglary in the 11500 block of West Woods Road at 7:45 p.m. Sept. 4. The man was arrested at Whitnall View Motel, 6991 S. Lovers Lane Road.
13A laptop computer was reported stolen from GA Precision, 5215 W. Airways Ave., at 10:40 a.m. Sept. 5. The theft occurred Aug. 11. An ex-employee of the business is suspected.
14Three people shoplifted hair care products at Sally's Beauty Supply, 7700 S. Lovers Lane Road, at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 5.
15A satellite radio, work items and a cloth bag containing blank checks from Sargento Co. were stolen from a locked van at Pick 'n Save, 7201 S. 76th St., between 5:10 and 5:56 p.m. Sept. 5. A window was smashed to gain entry.
16Two men, 27 and 30, a woman, 25, all of Milwaukee, were arrested for theft after they were seen loading pallets onto a U-Haul truck at the rear of Group II Communications, 11311 W. Forest Home Ave., at 3:30 a.m. Sept. 6. They also were cited for trespassing and obstructing an officer.
17A 41-year-old West Allis woman was arrested for using a stolen credit card at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 1:25 p.m. Sept. 7.
18A man attempted to steal a Dyson vacuum cleaner at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 4:20 p.m. Sept. 7. He fled, and the vacuum cleaner was recovered.
19A 26-year-old Elkhorn man was arrested for shoplifting $49 worth of men's clothing at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 3:10 p.m. Sept. 9.
20An 18-year-old Franklin man was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in the 10100 block of West Church Street at 11:30 p.m. Sept. 8.
21A 58-year-old Milwaukee woman was taken to the hospital with injuries after her vehicle rear-ended a car, causing a chain reaction collision involving four cars at 51st Street and Drexel Avenue at 8:25 p.m. Aug. 30. She was cited for inattentive driving.
22A man was rummaging through vehicles in the parking lot at The Home Depot, 6489 S. 27th St., shortly before 3:30 p.m. Sept. 3. Police are seeking a 51-year-old Milwaukee man for questioning.
23A 33-year-old Franklin man was cited for disorderly conduct after he told police his wife had a gun and was threatening to shoot him in order to get faster police response to his home in the 5100 block of West Lauren Court at 8 p.m. Sept. 5. The couple was having a verbal argument; no weapons were involved.
24A 70-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct after he was seen wearing a mini skirt and exposing his genitals in the lobby at Rosati's Pizza, 6558 S. Lovers Lane Road, at 8 p.m. Sept. 6.
25A 17-year-old Franklin boy was arrested for violating absolute sobriety and cited for speeding in the 6600 block of West Drexel Avenue at 1:25 a.m. Sept. 9. His blood-alcohol content was 0.07. Two passengers in his car, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, were cited for underage drinking.
Franklin police assisted with one rescue call between Sept. 3 and Sept. 9.
