Police Report: Oct. 4

BURGLARY

Electrical wire valued at $200 was taken from a home under construction in the 6600 block of South 46th Street prior to 8:45 a.m. Sept. 27. Two mixing valves valued at $100 were also taken from the same location last week.

Police received a report that someone took $100 from a residence in the 7700 block of South 51st Street on Sept. 26. The same theft took place in July, August and early September, bringing the total amount of cash taken to $400. Police have a suspect and are following up.

Oxycodone pills were taken from a locked apartment in the 7700 block of South 51st Street between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sept. 28.

A diamond wedding ring and several costume jewelry gold rings were taken from a locked residence in the 6900 block of South 118th Street between 7:25 a.m. and 7:10 p.m. Sept. 30.

A socket and wrench set, valued at $180, was taken from a locked residence in the 8200 block of South 88th Street between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m. Oct. 2.

THEFT

Police received a report that an iPod Touch was taken in the 7900 block of West Bur Oak Drive on Sept. 24.

Two 17-year-old girls and one 18-year-old woman were arrested for shoplifting cosmetics and clothing at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 5:25 p.m. Sept. 27.

Police received a report that a Kohl's credit card was taken from a woman in the 6900 block of South Lovers Lane Road between 5 p.m. Sept. 11 and 7 a.m. Sept. 12.

A black leather purse containing a wallet, credit cards, keys and about $50 in cash was taken from a woman at the Franklin Library, 9151 W. Loomis Road, between 12:10 p.m. and 12:40 p.m. Sept. 28.

A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting clothing at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 2:45 p.m. Sept. 28.

Central air-conditioning units were taken from six vacant apartments in the 6400 block of South 35th Street between 6 p.m. Sept. 27 and 8 a.m. Sept. 28.

A 31-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting disposable razors at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 8:55 p.m. Sept. 29.

Two men took diabetic blood test strips from Walgreens, 9909 W. Loomis Road, shortly before 10 a.m. Oct. 1.

A caller reported some of her prescription medications were taken from her residence in the 7700 block of South Cambridge Court approximately two weeks ago.

A customer's wallet was taken at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., prior to 11:55 a.m. Oct. 2.

A makeup bag and $5 was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 3700 block of West Acre Avenue between 8 p.m. Oct. 2 and 7 a.m. Oct. 3.

A digital media player valued at $200 and the cords valued at $20 were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 8400 block of South 35th Street between 8 p.m. Oct. 2 and 7 a.m. Oct. 3.

A cell phone charger and $5 in change was taken from two unlocked cars in the 3700 block of West Acre Avenue between 11 p.m. Oct. 2 and 7 a.m. Oct. 3.

Change totaling $5 was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 3200 block of West Acre Avenue between 10 p.m. Oct. 2 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 3.

A wallet was taken from a car in the 3300 block of West Acre Avenue prior to 8 a.m. Oct. 3.

An iPod Touch, $15 in quarters and a pair of sunglasses were taken from two unlocked vehicles at a residence in the 3200 block of West Acre Avenue between 10 p.m. Oct. 2 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 3.

Approximately $4 in change was taken from a vehicle in the 3000 block of West Acre Avenue prior to 10 a.m. Oct. 3.

A pack of cigarettes and $6 in change was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 3200 block of West Acre Avenue between midnight and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 3.

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting CO2 cartridges at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 6:10 p.m. Oct. 3.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 17-year-old Franklin boy was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., at 8:50 a.m. Sept. 30.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 49-year-old Oak Creek woman was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, in the 8800 block of South 76th Street at 2:20 a.m. Sept. 28.

VANDALISM

A mailbox was filled with popcorn and knocked off its post in the 6400 block of South 123rd Street between 10 p.m. Sept. 26 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 27.

A residence was egged in the 7300 block of West Brunn Drive between 10:30 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Sept. 30.

A garage coach light valued at $100 was damaged at a residence in the 3500 block of West Royal Court at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 2.

FIRE CALLS

Franklin police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with two rescue calls between Sept. 27 and Oct. 3.
