BURGLARY

A 20-piece cutlery set, a lawn mower and a stereo system was taken from a residence in the 6800 block of South 50th Street and stole between 7 p.m. Oct. 19 and 7:10 p.m. Oct. 20. Entry was gained through a rear patio door and garage.

Computers, video game systems, a digital media player, jewelry, a camera and sporting goods were taken from a locked residence in the 6300 block of South 35th Street between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 21. The front door was pried open.

THEFT

A 45-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting clothing at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 2:40 p.m. Oct. 18.

The driver of a gray Lincoln left without paying for $29 of gas at Hodach's Petroleum, 9830 W. St. Martins Road, at 5 p.m. Oct. 18.

A lawn thatcher and assorted scrap metal were taken from a residence in the 6900 block of South Phyllis Lane between 9 p.m. Oct. 18 and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 19.

A 25-year-old Milwaukee man and 18-year-old woman were arrested for shoplifting clothing at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 11 p.m. Oct. 20.

A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting cosmetics at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 2 p.m. Oct. 21.

A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $108 worth of baby care items at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 2:50 p.m. Oct. 22.

Three CDs, a pocket knife and loose change were taken from two unlocked vehicles in the 3100 block of West Southwood Drive between 6 p.m. Oct. 22 and 7 a.m. Oct. 23.

A digital camera, valued at $60, was taken from an unlocked truck in the 9300 block of South Springhill Lane between 8:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and 8:40 a.m. Oct. 23.

A cell phone charging cord, valued at $20, was taken from an unlocked car in the 3200 block of West Southwood Drive between 10:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and 2:45 p.m. Oct. 23.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 22-year-old Franklin man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found several IV needles and cooking spoons used to shoot heroin at his residence in the 11100 block of West Loomis Road at 7:35 p.m. Oct. 18.

Two male juveniles were arrested for possession of a controlled substance/narcotic (Ritalin) and possession with intent to deliver at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., at 1:45 p.m. Oct. 19. During the investigation, police also arrested another male juvenile for possession of Ritalin and another for intent to deliver Ritalin.

A 46-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon (a razor blade) after police cited him for shoplifting (sixth offense) at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 10:10 p.m. Oct. 19.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 11200 block of West Forest Home Avenue at 2:13 a.m. Oct. 23. His blood-alcohol content was 0.21. He was also cited for operating after suspension, fifth offense, and unsafe lane deviation.

A 53-year-old Waterford woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 6000 block of West Loomis Road at 8:15 a.m. Oct. 24. Her BAC was 0.19.

VANDALISM

A hole was cut in a fence in a yard behind Platt Construction, 7407 S. 27th St., between Oct. 7 and Oct. 21. It did not appear anything was taken from the yard.

A beer can was jammed into the rear light of a vehicle in the 5800 block of West Cascade Drive between 11 p.m. Oct. 23 and 8 a.m. Oct. 24.

OTHER

Police received a call from a resident stating a male in his 20s with a "Justin Bieber" haircut, came to her residence in the 5000 block of West Rawson Avenue soliciting for a contest at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 18. Police located the man, a 19-year-old from Oklahoma, and advised him to stop soliciting for the evening.

A caller reported a mop and a metal sign were placed on top of a vehicle parked in the 8100 block of West High Street between 10 p.m. Oct. 22 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 23. There was no damage to the vehicle.

A 19-year-old man threw a plastic water bottle through the drive-thru window, striking an employee in the back, at McDonald's, 7501 W. Rawson Ave., at 4:15 p.m. Oct. 24. The man is now banned from the Franklin McDonald's and will be charged with trespassing if he returns.

A caller reported a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and no pants lifted up his shirt and exposed himself on West Rawson Avenue near West Forest Home Avenue at 12:15 a.m. Oct. 25. Police checked the area with no results.

Franklin police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with two rescue calls between Oct. 17 and Oct. 24.
