ROBBERY

1A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for robbery after he injured a woman while stealing her purse in the 6500 block of South 27th Street shortly before 8 p.m. Sept. 24.

THEFT

2A 1994 48-foot semitrailer containing several used wooden pallets was stolen from the lot of Baptista's Bakery, 4625 W. Oakwood Park Drive, between 10 a.m. Sept. 16 and 2 p.m. Sept. 17. The trailer is valued at $3,000.

3A purse containing a cellphone was stolen from a vehicle in the Oak Leaf Bike Trail parking lot, 6800 S. 68th St., before 1:40 p.m. Sept. 24.

4A 20-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $259 worth of merchandise from the gift shop at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital, 10101 S. 27th St., at 3:35 p.m. Sept. 24.

5A 36-year-old Racine man was cited for theft for stealing a jacket from a resident of the 9500 block of South Ryan Green Court at 5:20 a.m. Sept. 25. The jacket was recovered and returned to its owner.

6A 37-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing items at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 6:55 p.m. Sept. 25.

7A backpack containing $500 worth of school books was stolen from a car parked in a driveway in the 7000 block of West Evans Drive between 8:30 p.m. Sept. 26 and 10 a.m. Sept. 27.

8A $2,000 MacBook computer was stolen from a car in the lot at AAA, 6501 S. 27th St., between 8:30 and 11:15 a.m. Sept. 27.

9A counterfeit $5 bill was passed at 7-Eleven, 7610 W. Rawson Ave., between 7 and 8 a.m. Sept. 28.

10A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting socks, fuel injector treatment and gas treatment at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 2:10 p.m. Sept. 29.

11Numerous pieces of copper pipe were stolen from a home in the 8600 block of South 51st Street before 3:30 p.m. Sept. 29. Police are following up with possible suspects.

ASSAULT

A 15-year-old Franklin girl was arrested for battery for kicking her mother in the stomach five to seven times just before 7 p.m. Sept. 24.

DRUG POSSESSION

12A 22-year-old Greendale man was arrested for conspiracy to possess marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 9200 block of South Thorncrest Court at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 24.

13An 18-year-old Franklin man was arrested for possession of marijuana and cited for speeding at 68th Street and Rawson Avenue at 12:30 a.m. Sept. 26. A 15-year-old female passenger in his car was arrested for possession of marijuana.

14A 19-year-old Oak Creek woman was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 27th Street and Puetz Road at 1:15 p.m. Sept. 28.

15A 20-year-old Franklin man was arrested for possession of marijuana after a police canine found a plastic bag containing marijuana under the rear driver-side seat of his car during a warrant arrest in the 5000 block of West Rawson Avenue at 2 a.m. Sept. 28.

16A 22-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia after police found a filled needle, corner-cut bags and two small cook bowls in her room after responding to a 911 call in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 28.

17A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a Schedule IV narcotic in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle at 2 a.m. Sept. 29. A 22-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for possession of heroin and for bail-jumping.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

18A 34-year-old Ohio man was arrested for drunken driving after his Jeep became airborne for about 170 feet before crashing in the 9200 block of West Loomis Road at 2:30 a.m. Sept. 28. He was taken to Froedtert Hospital for treatment of injuries. A blood sample was taken so his blood-alcohol content could be determined. The results were unavailable.

19A 24-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving at Lovers Lane Road and Cortez Circle at 3:20 a.m. Sept. 29. He also was arrested on two Franklin Police Department warrants. His BAC was 0.11.

VANDALISM

20A vehicle's paint was scratched while it was parked in a driveway in the 7800 block of South 66th Street between 7:30 a.m. Sept. 19 and 10:30 a.m. Sept. 22. A neighborhood child admitted doing the damage because the victim "yells at all the kids in the neighborhood."

OTHER

21A resident of the 9800 block of West Prairie Grass Way called police after three masked men entered her home shortly before 1:45 p.m. Sept. 26. The woman stated that none of the men spoke to her or tried to harm her and that they left about three or four minutes after she first noticed them. The men are believed to have entered and exited through the front door, which may have been unlocked. Police were unable to find them.

22A 41-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct at Walgreens, 9909 W. Loomis Road, at 7:35 p.m. Sept. 26. The woman entered Walgreens after she was asked not to return, then began threatening employees when she was asked to leave.

23A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and on a Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office warrant for a probation violation in the 7100 block of South 27th Street at 9:50 p.m. Sept. 28. The driver of the car, a 22-year-old Milwaukee man, was cited for driving with a suspended license, 11th offense, and possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle.

24A 28-year-old Franklin woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a tin and a syringe used to inject heroin in her possession while she was being taken to the hospital for an overdose in the 3800 block of West Glenwood Drive shortly after midnight Sept. 30.

25A resident called 911 to report there was a chicken running loose in the 6400 block of South 27th Street at 11:55 a.m. Sept. 30. An officer advised the caller regarding misuse of 911.

Franklin police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with four rescue calls between Sept. 24 and Sept. 30.
