BURGLARY
Clothing and a sujitcase were taken from a residence in the 6300 block of South 35th Street prior to 10:15 p.m. Nov. 2.
House and car keys were taken from a residence in the 7500 block of South 77th Street between 6:30 a.m. and 5:10 p.m. Nov. 3. Police noted there was no forced entry. Suspect(s) possibly exited out the rear window, which was left open.
THEFT
A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting after she was seen concealing merchandise and tried to leave without paying at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 5:40 p.m. Nov. 1. Since this was the second time she was arrested for shoplifting at this location, she was also cited for trespassing.
A 62-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting clothing items, two DVD players, a Blu-Ray player and food items, together valued at $240, at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 6:40 p.m. Nov. 1.
A stationary bike was taken from a yard in the 3400 block of West Drexel Avenue sometime between the afternoon hours of Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
The driver left without paying for $48 of gas at Open Pantry, 7610 W. Rawson Ave., at 10:55 a.m.
A resident in the 10900 block of West Ryan Road reported that her debit card was used to fraudulently purchase $111 of merchandise in California on Nov. 3.
A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for $244 of merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 8 p.m. Nov. 3.
An iPad was taken from a secure employee lounge at Midwest Orthopedic Hospital Specialty/Wheaton Franciscan, 10101 S. 27th St., between 8:45 p.m. and 9:10 p.m. Nov. 3.
A GPS unit and a tan canvas jacket were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 3700 block of West Southwood Drive between 6:55 p.m. Nov. 3 and 6:40 a.m. Nov. 4.
Lawn furniture was taken from a residence in the 4900 block of West Rawson Avenue between 8 a.m. Nov. 1 and 5 p.m. Nov. 3.
A driver's license, $10 in change and a Sam's Club membership card were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 5200 block of West Highlands Court between 11 p.m. Nov. 3 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 4.
A GPS unit, a digital media player and sunglasses were taken from an unlocked car in the 5300 block of West Preserve Court between 9:30 p.m. Nov. 3 and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 4.
A GPS unit was taken from a vehicle in the 8200 block of South Preserve Way between 11 p.m. Nov. 3 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 4. A second car at this location was also entered, but nothing was taken.
A digital media player, charger, $15, cologne and a flashlight were taken from two unlocked vehicles in the 4100 block of West McGinnis Drive between 11 p.m. Nov. 3 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 4.
A wallet was taken from an unlocked work locker at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, 10101 S. 27th St., between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Nov. 3. The wallet contained personal identification, a medical license and a credit card, which was subsequently used sometime before 6 p.m. Nov. 3.
A 19-year-old man was arrested for stealing an iPad at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, 10101 S. 27th St., at 5:15 p.m. Nov. 4.
Silver certificates worth $600 and $150 in cash were taken from a residence in the 8500 block of West Elm Court prior to 1:40 p.m. Nov. 5. The resident believes a family friend who was living in her basement took the money before vacating the residence. Police are searching for the suspect.
A DVD player and eight tire rims were taken from a storage unit in the 6300 block of South 35th Street prior to 4:15 p.m. Nov. 5. A suspect in the theft, a 34-year-old neighbor of the victim, fled on foot after he became aware police were going to question him.
Three women, ages 20, 23 and 25, and a 17-year-old girl, all of Milwaukee, were arrested for shoplifting 15 cans of baby formula, two shoulder bags and a white sweatshirt at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 3 p.m. Nov. 7. The driver of the vehicle, a 60-year-old Milwaukee man, was cited for operating after suspension and possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle.
A 56-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting a leather coat from the Salvation Army, 6341 S. 27th St., at 7 p.m. Nov. 7.
A 13-year-old Franklin boy was arrested for taking a cell phone from a locker at Franklin Middle School, 8038 S. 85th St., at 9:45 p.m. Nov. 7. The cell phone was returned to its rightful owner.
DRUG POSSESSION
A 17-year-old Franklin boy was cited for possession of marijuana after he was arrested for throwing a pumpkin at a vehicle in the 7300 block of South Countryside Drive at 8 p.m. Nov. 6. He was also charged with criminal damage to property.
A 22-year-old Franklin man was arrested for possession of synthetic marijuana in the 7700 block of South Tuckaway Shores Drive at 3:30 a.m. Nov. 7.
A 22-year-old Franklin man was arrested for possession of marijuana at South 68th Street and West Brunn Drive at 4:40 a.m. Nov. 8.
DRUNKEN DRIVING
A 66-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after he drove the wrong way on a divided highway in the 8200 block of South 27th Street at 1:30 a.m. Nov. 4. He was also cited for making an unsafe turn and for having no vehicle liability insurance. His blood-alcohol content was 0.12.
A 20-year-old Waukesha man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, and operating a vehicle after revocation in the 7100 block of South Lovers Lane Road at 2:30 a.m. Nov. 4. His BAC was 0.12. The passenger in his car was also cited for underage drinking, and two bartenders at the Landmark Tavern who served them drinks were also cited for serving underage patrons.
A 35-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, on South 76th Street and West Forest Hill Avenue at 2:50 a.m. Nov. 6. He was taken for a blood draw, the results of which were unknown.
VANDALISM
The tailgate of a vehicle was damaged when a pumpkin was thrown at it while it was parked in the 3900 block of West Anita Lane between 7 p.m. Nov. 4 and 8 a.m. Nov. 5.
A resident in the 12000 block of West Bel Mar Drive reported her newspaper delivery box was struck between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. Nov. 6. She also reported the Sunday paper has been taken from the box the past two weeks.
The rear driver's side window of a vehicle was damaged by a small projectile while it was parked in the 9500 block of South Ryan Green Court between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Nov. 7.
Nine unlocked vehicles were reportedly entered and rummaged through at the following locations: 5000 block of West Berkshire Drive; the 4100 block of West McGinnis Drive; the 5400 block of West Highlands Court; the 5400 block of West Preserve Court; the 5200 block of West Preserve Court. Nothing was reported missing.
OTHER
A 43-year-old West Milwaukee man was arrested and taken into custody on three counts of second degree sexual assault of a child after he had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl at the Park Motel, 7273 S. 27th St., at 6:23 a.m. Nov. 4.
Franklin police responded to one rescue call and one fire call between Nov. 1 and Nov. 7.
