BURGLARY

1A lawn chair, 25 bottles of wine and $140 were stolen from a home in the 8000 block of South 78th Street between 7 a.m. June 17 and 6 p.m. June 21.

2A television valued at $339 was stolen from a home in the 4500 block of West Oakwood Road between 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. June 20. There were no signs of forced entry, and the door was locked when the owner arrived home.

3A resident reported jewelry was stolen from her home in the 7700 block of South 51st Street at 12:40 p.m. June 22. The resident was uncertain when the theft took place.

THEFT

4A 51-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 5:30 p.m. June 19.

5A 48-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting after she was seen putting merchandise into her bag at Walgreens, 9909 W. Loomis Road, at 7:15 p.m. June 19.

6A pearl necklace, pearl bracelet, two gold rings, two gold bracelets and a diamond bracelet were stolen from a room at Staybridge Suites, 9575 S. 27th St., between June 18 and June 19.

7A core drill, reciprocating saw, hammer drill and a 16-volt cordless drill were stolen from an unlocked van parked behind Ewald Chrysler, 6319 S. 108th St., between 7 p.m. June 20 and 2 p.m. June 25.

8A 42-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $545 worth of merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 7:15 p.m. June 20.

9A 79-year-old Franklin man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing $66 worth of tool components at Menards, 10925 W. Speedway Drive, at 11:10 a.m. June 21.

10A company official reported three fraudulent transactions totaling $386 were made on a debit card kept in an unlocked desk drawer at Outlook Management, 6495 S. 27th St., at 1:10 p.m. June 21. The transactions were posted on the account June 18 and were made at local businesses.

11Suitcases, race gear, credit cards, NASCAR credentials, a laptop computer, a tablet computer and $4,200 were stolen from the trunk of a locked rental car in the parking lot at Whitnall Park Golf Course, 6701 S. Park Road, between 4:30 and 6 p.m. June 21. There was no evidence of forced entry.

12Two people stole a leather satchel from a locked vehicle at Whitnall Park Golf Course, 6701 S. Park Road, prior to 5:40 p.m. June 21. They broke a window to gain access, then fled in an older gold car.

13A resident reported $700 was stolen from underneath a pile of clothes on his bed in 3600 block of West College Avenue between 6 a.m. June 22 and 6 a.m. June 23.

14Cash totaling $108 was stolen from a wallet that was lost by a customer at Pick 'n Save, 7201 S. 76th St., at 4:30 p.m. June 22.

15An 18-year-old Wauwatosa woman, a 20-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 23-year-old Milwaukee woman were arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 11:20 p.m. June 22.

16A 32-year-old Milwaukee woman called police to report methadone medication and $600 were stolen from the front seat of her unlocked truck at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., between midnight and 1:30 a.m. June 24. The woman was taken into custody on South Milwaukee and Oak Creek police department warrants.

17A 33-year-old East Troy man was arrested for shoplifting two impact sockets, valued at $32, at Menards, 10925 W. Speedway Drive, at 9:55 a.m. June 25.

18A 58-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting $30 in watches at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 11:35 a.m. June 25.

DRUG POSSESSION

19A 21-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia after she overdosed at a home in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle at 4:40 p.m. June 22.

VANDALISM

20A truck was damaged by a BB while driving on 27th Street and Southland Drive between 11 and 11:30 p.m. June 16.

21A vehicle mirror was shot out with a BB in the 7300 block of South Hillendale Drive between 6 p.m. June 18 and 6 a.m. June 19. Damage is estimated at $70.

22A manager reported sexual writings on an apartment door and bedroom window in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle at 11:40 a.m. June 25.

23Graffiti was written on playground equipment at Friendship Park, 3810 W. Sharon Lane, prior to 4:30 p.m. June 25.

OTHER

24A 48-year-old man was arrested for prowling in the 7100 block of South 76th Street at 1:20 a.m. June 20.

25A 52-year-old Franklin man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he followed and harassed a mother and daughter while they were walking in the 4600 block of West Xavier Drive at 7:40 p.m. June 22. The man was identified through a license plate check and taken into custody June 23.

26A mail carrier's finger was bitten by a Chihuahua while he was delivering mail in the 6300 block of South 27th Street at 3:45 p.m. June 25. The dog did not have a current rabies vaccination and was quarantined.
