BURGLARY

1An 18-year-old Franklin man was arrested for burglary after stealing several bottles of alcohol, a Smith & Wesson .44 magnum, several folding knives, $20 in change and $120 of food from a residence in the 6300 block of South 27th Street at 6:30 p.m. A 17-year-old boy was also charged with theft and trespassing for stealing food from the residence.

THEFT

2An ice cream freezer, valued at $2,000, was taken from Gift of Wings, 9955 W. St. Martins Road, between 9 p.m. June 25 and 10:30 a.m. June 26. The freezer, painted black and white with a "Chocolate Shoppe" decal on it, was being stored outside the rear of the building.

3Prescription medication (Percocet) was taken out of a woman's purse at Starbucks, 6537 S. 27th St., between 6 and 11 a.m. June 27.

4Three credit cards were taken from an employee's purse at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital, 10100 S. 27th St., between 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. June 27. The victim stated the unknown suspect(s) tried to make several transactions on the cards but all were denied.

5Two female juveniles were arrested for shoplifting $30 of clothing at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 11:35 a.m. June 28.

6A license plate was taken off a vehicle parked in the Target parking lot, 2917 W. Acre Ave., on the evening of June 28.

7A caller reported his digital media player was taken while he was visiting a residence in the 9200 block of West Forest Home Avenue between 6 p.m. June 16 and 2 a.m. June 17.

8Five 60-inch by 66-inch silk screen frames, valued at $250 each, were taken from outside the rear of Siemann Signs, 9953 W. St. Martins Road, between 9 p.m. June 28 and 10 a.m. June 29.

9A 45-year-old woman and a 61-year-old man, both of Green Bay, were arrested for shoplifting merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 5:30 p.m. June 29.

10Two female juveniles were arrested for shoplifting merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 8:15 p.m. June 29.

11A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 10:40 p.m. June 29.

12A 2012 Honda Civic was taken from the parking lot at Sendik's, 5200 W. Rawson Ave., at 10 p.m. June 30.

13A resident called police when he discovered two unknown males inside his open garage in the 10800 block of West Coronado Court shortly after midnight July 1. The resident chased the two suspects, who fled in an older, Hyundai Excel four-door and were last seen traveling toward Church Street. The suspects stole at least one pack of cigarettes from the garage.

14A woman's purse was taken out of an unlocked vehicle parked in an open garage in the 10600 block of West Monastery Drive between 9:30 p.m. June 30 and 8 a.m. July 1. A bicyclist found the purse on Church Street and returned it to the victim at 9:20 a.m. Missing from the recovered purse was $150 digital media player and $60.

15A wooden post and mailbox, valued at $30, was taken from a residence in the 8100 block of South 81st Street between 2:30 and 9 a.m. July 1.

16The driver of a gold, four-door car left without paying for $25 of gas at Mobil, 7103 S. 27th St., at 6:15 p.m. July 1.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

17A 32-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and prohibited alcohol concentration in the 10000 block of West Loomis Road at 11:50 p.m. July 1. His preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.20.

OTHER

18A 42-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drugged driving and bail jumping after a car accident in the 8100 block of South 100th Street shortly after 10 a.m. June 27. The suspect fled from police and was taken into custody in the 8300 block of South 100th Street. He was taken to the hospital for a legal blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.

19A 20-year-old Franklin man was arrested for absolute sobriety and failure to maintain control of a vehicle after an accident on 27th Street and Ryan Road at 1:25 a.m. June 30.

20A 42-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for disorderly conduct after she dumped her ex-husband's property on the roadway and in a creek while he was visiting a friend in the 6300 block of South 27th Street at 7:20 p.m. July 1.

Franklin police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with one rescue call between June 26 and July 1.
