BURGLARY

1A purse and cellphone were stolen from the front interior entryway of a home in the 12000 block of West Elmwood Drive at 4:30 a.m. July 11.

THEFT

2Four tires were stolen off a 1007 Dodge Ram pickup truck at Braeger Auto, 8341 S. 27th St., between 3:30 p.m. July 8 and 8 a.m. July 9.

3An employee reported two unknown suspects shoplifted a $30 box of Allegra allergy pills at Walgreens, 9527 S. 27th St., at 10:35 a.m. July 10. The suspects, who reportedly stole the same item at the Howell and Ryan Road Walgreens earlier in the day, fled south on South 27th Street in a silver vehicle.

4A license plate was stolen off a motorcycle in the 7100 block of West Jordan Court before 5:25 p.m. July 10.

5A 44-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting a $28 pair of sunglasses at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 1:40 p.m. July 11.

6Approximately 35 OxyContin pills were reported stolen from a residence in the 7300 block of Carter Circle at 1:10 p.m. July 12.

7A maroon boys sport bicycle was stolen from Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., between 8 and 11:15 a.m. July 13.

8A license plate was stolen off a vehicle parked in the 6400 block of South 27th Street between midnight and 1 p.m. July 14.

9A trailer was reported stolen from a residence in the 7500 block of South 51st Street at 10:15 a.m. July 15. The victim told police the theft occurred sometime within the past week.

ASSAULT

10A 42-year-old Franklin man was arrested for battery after he bit another man during a physical altercation at Eric's Setback, 6357 S. 27th St., at 7 p.m. July 13.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

11A 55-year-old Colorado man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, and cited for prohibited alcohol concentration and operating after revocation at Speedway, 10001 W. Church St., at 2:10 p.m. July 9. His preliminary blood alcohol content was unavailable.

VANDALISM

12Telephone wires were pulled out of a connector box causing the phone lines to go dead at the Mission Hills Apartments, 7755 S. Scepter Drive, at 11 a.m. July 7. Police are reviewing security camera footage.

13An unknown suspect(s) used a green marker to write "bitch" on a hallway door molding in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle between 11 a.m. July 6 and 7:30 a.m. July 9. Damage was estimated at $25.

14A car was damaged when sand was poured into its gas tank in the 8700 block of West Elm Court between 9 p.m. July 14 and 10 a.m. July 15.

15The rear side window of a home was damaged/broken by a brick in the 8800 block of West Elm Court before 9 p.m. July 15.

OTHER

16A 45-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest at On The Border, 10741 S. 27th St., at 4:20 p.m. July 10. After being booked and cited he was transported to St. Luke's Hospital due to his high level of intoxication.

17A 28-year-old Franklin man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at Eric's Setback, 6357 S. 27th St., at 7 p.m. July 13.

18An 18-year-old Franklin man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and cited for a red light signal violation on Riverwood Boulevard and 27th Street at 10:15 p.m. July 13.

19A 39-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was seen urinating in the parking lot at Planet Fitness, 6529 S. 27th St., at 11:55 a.m. July 14. He was also taken into custody for having two outstanding warrants for retail theft with the Greenfield and Oak Creek police departments.

20An 18-year-old man was cited for unsafe lane deviation and unreasonable speed after he was seen yelling at pedestrians while traveling at a high rate of speed, then deviated into the eastbound lane and nearly struck an unmarked Franklin police squad near Southview Drive and Riverview Road at 7:40 p.m. July 14. He was located at Taco Bell on South 76th Street, where he admitted driving recklessly and was cited.

Franklin police responded to one domestic violence call between July 9 and July 16.
