1A truck battery, a marine battery, a jumper box and wiring were stolen from a pickup truck stored on rented property in the 10300 block of West Oakwood Road between May 1 and July 2. Loss is estimated at $400.
2A 30-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for shoplifting a cellphone cover at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 5:25 p.m. July 2.
3A wallet containing $300 was stolen from a residence in the 3100 block of West Woodward Drive on July 2. Police are following up with a possible suspect.
4A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting four Wii controllers at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 1:45 p.m. July 5. Loss is estimated at $170.
5A bicycle and scrap metal items were reported stolen from a residential property in the 6300 block of South 27th Street at 11:15 p.m. July 5.
6A wallet was stolen out of a vehicle in the 8800 block of West Travis Lane between the evening hours of July 5 and 11:35 a.m. July 6.
7A 46-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen switching price tags on a hammer to make it ring up $4 less than the original price at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 11:30 a.m. July 6.
8A 33-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $22 worth of makeup at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 5 p.m. July 6. She also was taken into custody on Greenfield Police Department warrants for theft of gas, contributing to truancy, driving with a suspended license and contempt of court.
9A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $42 worth of clothing and batteries and a 19-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $22 worth of baby clothes at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 1:50 p.m. July 8.
10A 52-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for battery for physically assaulting a 25-year-old woman in the 6300 block of South 27th Street at 12:30 p.m. July 7.
11A 16-year-old Greenfield boy was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon during a traffic stop in the 6100 block of South 27th Street at 12:20 a.m. July 7. He also was cited for a driver's license restriction violation and driving a vehicle with a defective tail lamp. A passenger in his car, a 17-year-old Milwaukee boy, was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
12A 23-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for drunken driving in the 8700 block of South 27th Street at 1:45 a.m. July 5. His blood-alcohol content was 0.22.
13A 29-year-old Franklin woman was taken to the hospital with injuries after her car was rear-ended by a van while she was stopped at a red light on 76th Street at Puetz Road at 8:15 a.m. June 28. The driver of the van, a 72-year-old Franklin man, was cited for failure to have control of his vehicle.
14A 74-year-old Omro man and his passenger, a 74-year-old Oak Creek woman, were taken to the hospital with injuries after the driver passed out behind the wheel, causing his car to leave the roadway and strike a tree on Rawson Avenue at Woelfel Road at 6:40 p.m. June 28.
15Someone entered a locked, fenced-in area and damaged the electrical supply line and freon supply line to the air-conditioning unit at Pleasant View Elementary School, 4601 W. Marquette Ave., between June 12 and July 2. The person partially removed a stainless steel conduit, cut wires and bent a copper line.
16A downspout was damaged on a house in the 8400 block of South River Terrace Drive between 10 p.m. July 4 and 2:20 p.m. July 5. The spout was twisted and punctured. Damage is estimated at $50.
17A 45-year-old Franklin woman was cited for disorderly conduct after she became loud and yelled insults and profanities at a woman in the pool at Whitnall Pointe Apartments, 10591 W. Cortez Circle, at 5:15 p.m. July 7.
18A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed knife at Bruss Lane and Imperial Drive at 8:15 p.m. July 8.
19Police responded to a report of a man wearing boxer shorts walking around and being verbally abusive to guests at Staybridge Suites, 9575 S. 27th St., at 3:10 a.m. July 9. The 64-year-old Greendale man explained he only had boxers on because he had locked himself out of his room. The man was returned to his room and asked to check out of the hotel later that morning.
Franklin police responded to two domestic violence calls between July 2 and July 9.
