1A central air-conditioning unit was stolen from a foreclosed property in the 7800 block of South Stonebrook Court between Dec. 1 and Jan. 15.

2A manager at Boucher Volkswagen, 6420 S. 108th St., reported that a rear bumper was stolen and a 2014 Jetta parked in the rear lot was damaged between Jan. 24 and Jan. 31. Damage is estimated at $1,000.

3Four laser landscaping spotlights, valued at $160 each, were stolen from a front yard in the 3800 block of West Forest Hill Avenue between 10 p.m. Jan. 26 and 4:30 p.m. Jan. 28.

4A large "Steve Olson" campaign sign was stolen from the rear of a property in the 7500 block of South 75th Street between 1:30 p.m. Jan. 27 and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 28. Footprints in the snow led from the sign to a spot alongside 75th Street around to the front of the property, then down the sidewalk.

5A 32-year-old New Berlin woman was arrested for stealing tools and clothing at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., about 3:30 p.m. Jan. 28.

6A 44-year-old man was arrested for theft and trespassing after he attempted to steal a stereo at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., about 12:15 p.m. Jan. 30. The suspect had been arrested for stealing at the store Jan. 12, and had been ordered not to return. His accomplice, a 32-year-old man, was arrested for possession of stolen property and carrying a concealed weapon after police found an aluminum baseball bat in the back seat of his vehicle.

7Lottery tickets, a $5 value, were stolen from the glove compartment of an unlocked vehicle in the 3300 block of West College Avenue either Jan. 30 and Jan. 31.

8Sunglasses, tools and a CD case were stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 3900 block of West College Avenue between 1 p.m. Jan. 30 and 7:40 a.m. Jan. 31.

9A wallet containing a driver's license, Social Security card and five credit cards was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3900 block of West College Avenue between 5 p.m. Jan. 31 and 10 a.m. Feb. 1. Greendale officers found the empty wallet while investigating a theft from an unlocked auto in their village at 1 p.m. Feb. 1; it was turned over to the victim.

10A 23-year-old man was arrested for stealing and trespassing after he switched UPC codes on items in an attempt to not pay for $150 worth of merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., about 4:30 p.m. Feb. 1. He had been arrested at Walmart on Jan. 16, and had been told not to enter a Walmart again.

11A man stole a $29 bottle of tequila and a $33 gift set at Discount Cigarettes & Liquor, 6507A S. 27th St., about 2:55 p.m. Feb. 2. The man, described as a taller white man in his late 20s with blonde hair, a goatee and blue eyes and wearing sweatpants, red and black Air Jordans and a do-rag, fled south on 27th Street in a tan Toyota Corolla.


12A 47-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana at El Rancho Motel, 8973 S. 27th St., about 2:45 a.m. Feb. 2.


13A 58-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after he drove his vehicle into a snow bank on Rawson Avenue at North Cape Road about 2:40 a.m. Jan. 29. He later was cited for disorderly conduct after he urinated in the interview room. His blood-alcohol content was 0.10.

14A 44-year-old Racine woman was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, and possession of marijuana in the 8800 block of South 27th Street at 1:15 a.m. Feb. 1. Her BAC was 0.14.

15A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and possession of the Schedule II narcotic Adderall after he was pulled over for driving erratically and almost side-swiping two vehicles at 76th Street and Rawson Avenue about 8:30 p.m. Feb. 1. His BAC was 0.23.

16A 26-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving in the 7000 block of West Rawson Avenue about 10:30 p.m. Feb. 2. His BAC was 0.09.

17A 42-year-old Wauwatosa man was arrested for drunken driving at Rawson Avenue and North Cape Road about 2:10 a.m. Feb. 3. His BAC was 0.19.


18A bathroom stall wall was spray-painted at Cousin's Subs, 7178 S. 76th St., between 2 and 8 p.m. Jan. 30.


19A resident reported that a white man in a bright orange Jeep with tinted windows approached her 12-year-old son after he got off the school bus at 96th Street and Briarwood Drive about 4:10 p.m. Jan. 29. The man was between 40 and 60 years old with gray hair and facial hair and wearing a black jacket. He told the boy he was a new neighbor and stated he was "Chuck the wood carver." The man kept saying he couldn't hear the boy, and there was someone else in the backseat. A special watch was requested in the area during school days.

20A 49-year-old Franklin man was arrested for animal cruelty about 9 p.m. Feb. 1 after he went to his girlfriend's home in the 7800 block of South Scepter Drive and killed her dog. According to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission, the dog, a 5-year-old teacup poodle, died of blunt force trauma.

· Franklin police assisted with one rescue call between Jan. 28 and Feb. 3.
