THEFT

1A male shoplifted $100 worth of shrimp by shoving it down his pants at Pick 'n Save, 7780 S. Lovers Lane Road, at 4:05 p.m. Nov. 23.

2Wire was stolen off large wooden spools on a bucket truck at The Rock Sports Complex, 7900 W. Crystal Ridge Drive, between 3 p.m. Nov. 25 and 9:50 a.m. Nov. 26.

3A 34-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting two $20 "Man of Steel" DVDs at Pick 'n Save, 7780 S. Lovers Lane Road, about 4:15 p.m. Nov. 25. The DVDs were recovered from his room at the Park Motel, where he was taken into custody. In addition, he was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and on a Waukesha County Sheriff's Department warrant for theft.

4A woman was cited for shoplifting and resisting arrest after stole $50 worth of merchandise and fled from officers at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., about 6:30 p.m. Nov. 25.

5A man shoplifted an unknown number of items at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., about 11:45 p.m. Nov. 25. Security attempted to stop the man and recovered about $330 worth of merchandise before he fled the lot in his vehicle. Two females assisted the man, but police were unable to find any of them.

6Mail was stolen out of a mailbox in the 7500 block of South Joshua Court before 10:45 a.m. Nov. 26. The caller told police that mail had been stolen out of the box Nov. 18 through Nov. 21, and she had already confirmed with the Post Office that mail was delivered to her residence on all four days.

7A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $331 worth of merchandise — Xbox games, baby toys, boots, a portable DVD player, diaper cream and a pastry — at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 1:15 p.m. Nov. 26.

8Two males stole two computers, valued at $996, at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., and fled north on 27th Street in a black Grand Prix at 6:20 p.m. Nov. 26. According to store security, one of the males appeared to be the same person involved in a shoplifting incident at the store the previous day. Police are following up.

· A Franklin woman's credit card information was used without permission to order products from QVC. She reported the theft at 8 p.m. Nov. 26. The account with QVC was set up through someone living in Washington; police are working with the credit card company to find the perpetrator.

9Two flat-screen televisions, two tower speakers, two keyboards and a man's ring were stolen from a home in the 7600 block of South 51st Street. the crime was reported at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 26. The victim told police he lent his 2004 Honda Accord to a friend who is the suspect in this case. The friend also is wanted for car theft because he failed to return the vehicle to its owner.

10A 43-year-old Illinois man was arrested for shoplifting a $42 drill bit at Menards, 10925 W. Speedway Drive, at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 27.

11A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting liquor at Sam's Club, 6705 S. 27th St., about 6:45 p.m. Nov. 27.

12About 150 feet of copper wire was stolen from a machine at The Rock Sports Complex, 7900 W. Crystal Ridge Drive, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Nov. 28.

13A 59-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing a pint of Smirnoff Vodka and some crackers inside his coat at Quik Chek, 8305 S. 27th St., at 11 a.m. Nov. 29.

14A 38-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting after she removed price tags from children's clothing on the clearance rack and placed them on full-priced items at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 4:45 p.m. Nov. 29.

15A 26-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting, disorderly conduct and trespassing after he fought with store security at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 11:40 p.m. Nov. 30. In addition, he was taken into custody on three Franklin Police Department warrants for retail theft and resisting arrest and Greenfield Police Department and Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office warrants for retail theft.

16A 27-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting a DVD player at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., and was taken into custody for a probation violation at 5:40 p.m. Dec. 1.

17A 24-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman, both of Milwaukee, were stole a cartload of merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., about 1:10 p.m. Dec. 2. The women left some of the merchandise in the parking lot and drove off in a green vehicle. They were found and arrested at Days Inn, 1201 W. College Ave., about 20 minutes later.

DRUG POSSESSION

18A 16-year-old boy was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 9500 block of South Ryan Green Court about 9:40 p.m. Nov. 30.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

19A 70-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after he drove into a pole in the 11100 block of West St. Martins Road about 2 p.m. Nov. 27. He was taken to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital for treatment of his injuries. His blood-alcohol content was unavailable as blood tests results were unknown at the time of the report.

20A 42-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at 27th Street and Drexel Avenue about 9:50 p.m. Nov. 29. His BAC was 0.18.

21A 50-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving at 76th Street and Pineberry Ridge about midnight Nov. 29. His BAC was 0.13.

VANDALISM

22A vehicle drove over lawns in the 4700 block of West Forest Hill Avenue and took out several bushes and lights before driving north on Forest Hill at 8:20 a.m. Nov. 26.

23A 38-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct and vandalism and was taken into custody for felony bail jumping after he threw a woman's cellphone through a glass window during an argument at a residence in the 4500 block of West Oakwood Road at 11:30 p.m. Nov. 29.

OTHER

24A resident of the 3100 block of West Acre Avenue reported his neighbor was blowing snow into his yard at 11:35 a.m. Nov. 25. The responding officer took no action after seeing the neighbor's driveway was on the property line and deemed it was reasonable to blow snow onto the caller's lawn.

25Officers who responded to a report of an unconscious person outside Anytime Fitness, 6538 S. Lovers Lane Road, found a 52-year-old Franklin man dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head about 6:20 a.m. Nov. 26.

26A motorist called police after finding a pistol, ammunition and broken pieces of a gun case in the intersection of 35th Street and Acre Avenue about 7:15 a.m. Nov. 27. Police noted that it appeared someone may have left the cased gun on top of their vehicle and drove off, and someone ran over it. The weapon, what was left of the case and the ammo were taken away by police.

27A 16-year-old boy was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and was cited for a curfew violation in the 10100 block of West Scepter Circle about 2 a.m. Dec. 2.

· Franklin police assisted with two rescue calls and one fire call between Nov. 25 and Dec. 2.
