THEFT

1A resident called police to report vegetables have repeatedly been taken from his garden in the 8200 block of South 35th Street at 8:50 a.m. July 30. A special watch was requested during the evening hours.

2Catalytic converters were taken off two diesel trucks parked at Ewald Motors, 6319 S. 108th St., between 5 p.m. July 25 and 5 p.m. July 30. A fence was cut for entry to the area.

3A 64-year-old Oak Creek man was cited for fraud on a taxi driver after he refused to pay for a cab ride from downtown Milwaukee to the American Motel, 9335 S. 27th St., at 12:25 a.m. Aug. 1.

4Beer was taken out of a refrigerator in a garage in the 3900 block of West Cypress Lane between July 25 and July 26.

5A 21-year-old woman was arrested for motor vehicle theft after she took her father's girlfriend's car without permission in the 7200 block of South 46th Street at 3:20 p.m. Aug. 1.

6A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 4:20 p.m. Aug. 1.

7A 37-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., shortly after 7 p.m. Aug. 1.

8A 2,000-watt portable generator, valued at $250, and a cased 16-inch chainsaw, valued at $350, were taken from the garage area at the Franciscan Sisters of Mount St. Clair, 7732 S. 51st St., between 5 p.m. Aug. 2 and 11:20 a.m. Aug. 3. There were no signs of forced entry.

9A 30-year-old woman, a 23-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, all of Milwaukee, were arrested for shoplifting after they were seen concealing merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 2:15 p.m. Aug. 4.

10A gas grill was taken from a residence in the 6300 block of South 35th Street between 8:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. Aug. 4.

ASSAULT

11Police are seeking a 42-year-old man who cut a woman's index finger with a knife during an altercation in the 6300 block of South 35th Street shortly before 4:30 a.m. Aug. 2. The suspect also slashed the front and rear tires of a vehicle parked outside the residence.

12A 17-year-old West Allis boy was arrested for battery after he allegedly struck an 18-year-old woman in the face in the 4600 block of West Park Court shortly before 4 a.m. Aug. 6. The suspect fled the area and was located in West Allis at 6:50 a.m., where he was taken into custody.

DRUG POSSESSION

13A 17-year-old boy was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after police confiscated a bong at his residence in the 8900 block of South 116th Street at 9:15 p.m. July 30.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

14A 52-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for drunken driving after two truck drivers stopped her vehicle after she was driving recklessly on Lovers Lane Road and Woelfel Road at 10:50 a.m. Aug. 3. Her preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.27.

15A 61-year-old Madison man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for violating a red light in the 10100 block of South 27th Street shortly before 7 p.m. Aug. 4. The suspect refused to provide a breath sample.

VANDALISM

16The upper deck on a piece of playground equipment was damaged with sparklers at Pleasant View School, 4601 W. Marquette Ave., sometime in the two weeks prior to Aug. 2.

17A rear door lock was cut and severed on a company transport truck parked at CEVA Logistics, 5390 W. Ashland Way, between the evening of Aug. 2 and 9:40 a.m. Aug. 3.

OTHER

18A 61-year-old Franklin man was cited for disorderly conduct after he made an obscene gesture towards a neighbor in the 3300 block of West Sycamore Street at 7a.m. July 30.

19A 35-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct for swearing and acting inappropriately while there were customers and children in the store at Verizon Wireless, 6531 S. 27th St., at 5:20 p.m. July 31.

20A 45-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she began swearing and exposing her buttocks to residents in the pool area at an apartment complex in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle at 6:40 p.m. July 31.

Franklin police assisted with three rescue calls between July 30 and Aug. 6.
