1An $800 55-inch Magnavox TV, a $500 electronic tablet, a $200 video game console, 10 video games valued at $10 each, a $500 Alex Rodriguez jersey and a Derek Jeter jersey (no value listed) were stolen from a locked residence in the 10500 block of West Herda Place between 9:45 a.m. and noon Aug. 4. The unknown suspect(s) kicked in the pet door on the east side of the residence to gain entry.
2An unknown male wearing all black stole a total of about $3 in change from three unlocked vehicles parked in the 8100 block of South Forest Meadows Drive at about 6:10 a.m. July 31.
3A 42-year-old Hales Corners woman was arrested for stealing $200 in cash from The Hideaway Pub & Eatery, 9643 S. 76th St., at 4:05 a.m. Aug. 1.
4A 24-year-old female employee was arrested for theft after she fraudulently obtained a credit card and made two purchases without consent at Sport Clips, 7700 S. Lovers Lane Road, at 7:25 p.m. Aug. 1. She was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia during the arrest search.
5An unknown male passed a counterfeit $20 bill while requesting change at Jimmy John's, 6533 S. 27th St., at about 7:10 p.m. Aug. 3. The suspect, a 5-foot, 6-inch male between 18 and 20 years old with a medium build and buzz-cut hair and wearing a black "Deutschland" jersey, handed the cashier the folded counterfeit $20 bill and quickly left after receiving a $10 and two $5 bills.
6Two unknown men shoplifted $900 worth of MP3 players by putting them in a bag lined with tin foil and duct tape at Menards, 10925 W. Speedway Drive, at about 11:25 a.m. Aug. 4. The merchandise was recovered by store employees and the men fled in eastbound on West Church Street in a red Chrysler van. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
7A 24-year-old Franklin man was arrested for shoplifting $145 of merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 12:45 p.m. Aug. 4.
8A 27-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting after she was seen concealing an undisclosed amount of merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 4:25 p.m. Aug. 4.
9An unknown man attempted to push a cart full of merchandise out the front door at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 9 p.m. Aug. 4. The suspect, a 5-foot, 5-inch tall male weighing about 130 pounds and wearing a brown shirt, khaki pants and a two-toned khaki and blue baseball cap, left the cart behind when confronted by employees and ran toward Wendy's. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the subject.
10A 30-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were arrested for possession of marijuana at the Park Motel, 7273 S. 27th St., at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 3. Both subjects were arrested after officers found marijuana in their room after they went into the police substation to report that someone stole the woman's medication at 10:30 a.m.
11A 28-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, fourth offense, and operating after revocation, and was taken into custody for having a valid warrant through the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department in the 2900 block of West Southwood Drive at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 2. He was taken to the hospital for a legal blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.
12One subject was transported to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital for treatment of a head injury after driving a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta into the pond behind Home Depot, 6489 S. 27th St., at about midnight Aug. 2.
13An unknown subject(s) climbed onto the roof at Country Dale Elementary School, 7380 S. North Cape Road, and damaged two air conditioning units sometime between June 27 and Aug. 2. The subject(s) bent the cooling fins on both units, carved the initials "EC 12, JB JP" and a picture of male genitals on the bent fins of one unit, and carved the initials "CG" on a large portion of the bent fin on the other unit. Damage to the units is estimated at $4,000.
14The passenger side window of a 2012 Buick Enclave was damaged by a BB gun or an unknown tool while it was parked in the Umbrella Bar parking lot at The Rock Sports Complex, 7900 W. Crystal Ridge Drive, between 7:30 and 10:15 p.m. July 28. Nothing was stolen from inside the vehicle.
15A caller reported a patio door was shattered and the screens were ripped and torn at a home in the 4100 block of West Hilltop Lane at 11:15 a.m. July 30. A damage estimate was unavailable.
16An employee at the Park Motel, 7273 S. 27th St., reported a guest vandalized a room at 10:45 a.m. Aug. 1. The responding officers found a broken table and drawer face and a broken microwave in the room, and the subject also left the room extremely dirty with food all over the floor and soda sprayed on the walls. Police are following up with a possible male suspect who rented the room between June 13 and Aug. 1.
17The driver's side rear window of a 2001 Ford Focus was broken and the trunk lock damaged in an attempt to gain entry to the car while it was parked at the Milwaukee County House of Correction, 8885 S. 68th St., between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 3 and 1:13 a.m. Aug. 4. Nothing was reported missing from inside the vehicle.
· Franklin police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with one rescue call between July 30 and Aug. 4.
