BURGLARY

1 A $1,599 Ariens snowblower was taken from an inside secure storage building at Liban Lawn Service, 11305 W. Forest Home Ave., between March 15 and March 25.

2 Several rings, necklaces and earrings, valued at $1,719, were taken from a dresser drawer and jewelry box inside a residence in the 7300 block of South Lovers Lane Road between April 1 and April 5. There was no forced entry to the home.

3 Cash totaling $2,000 was taken from two locked cabinets at Sendik's, 5200 W. Rawson Ave., between 2:20 and 2:50 a.m. April 12. The incident was captured on video surveillance.

THEFT

4 A pair of diamond earrings and about $50 in change was stolen from a home in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle between March 1 and April 7.

5 A 14-foot Kaufman trailer, a New Holland LS180 skid loader and a Snow Wolf Ultra 96 plow were stolen from Central Aquatics & Pet Co., 9675 S. 60th St., between April 4 and April 7.

6 A 22-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen taking merchandise off a shelf and concealing it at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 7:45 p.m. April 7. The suspect was under a no trespass order for previous incidents there.

7 A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $101 worth of children's clothing at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 8:30 a.m. April 8.

8 An unindentified male shoplifted two external hard drives, valued at $167, at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 8:25 a.m. April 8.

9 A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting pizzas, crackers, soup and a case of soda at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 11:50 a.m. April 8.

10 A 15-year-old boy was arrested for stealing a microscope and carrying a concealed weapon (an electronic stun gun) at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., at about 10 a.m. April 11.

11 An 18-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting and obstructing after he was seen concealing merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 8 p.m. April 12. After fleeing Walmart, he ran into a nearby Wendy's where he changed into women's clothing inside the women's restroom.

12 A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting whiskey and three cellphone cases at Sam's Club, 6705 S. 27th St., at about 3:15 p.m. April 13.

DRUG POSSESSION

13 A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana and a 19-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia at the American Motel, 9335 S. 27th St., at about 1:30 a.m. April 13. Police found 117.8 grams of marijuana.

14 A 31-year-old Franklin man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 4000 block of West College Avenue at about 3 a.m. April 13.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

15 A 40-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving at the Park Motel, 7273 S. 27th St., at about 1:45 a.m. April 8. Her preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.15.

16 A 37-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving and was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle on South 60th Street and West Oakwood Road at about 3:30 a.m. April 9. She refused to provide a breath sample and was taken into custody.

17 A 28-year-old Greendale man was arrested for drunken driving on West Rawson Avenue and South 27th Street at about 1 a.m. April 10. He refused a breath test and a blood test and was taken into custody.

18 A 46-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 6400 block of South 27th Street at about 11:10 p.m. April 10. Her preliminary BAC was 0.11.

19 A 51-year-old Ohio woman was arrested for drunken driving on South Deerwood Lane and West Loomis Road at about 1 a.m. April 12. Her preliminary BAC was 0.13.

20 A 50-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for drunken driving at Showtime Cinema, 8910 S. 102nd St., at about 2 a.m. April 12. Her preliminary BAC was 0.11.

21 A 38-year-old Waukesha woman was arrested for drunken driving and was cited for an unsafe lane deviation in the 9600 block of South 76th Street at about 3 a.m. April 12. Her preliminary BAC was 0.20.

22 A 21-year-old Schofield man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for driving the wrong way on a divided highway in the 2600 block of West Drexel Avenue at about 1 a.m. April 14. His preliminary BAC was 0.10.

VANDALISM

23 A door of a vehicle was scratched at Tooling Technologies, 10179S. 57th St., between 5:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. April 9.

24 A resident called police to report his two sons, ages 13 and 16, vandalized the walking path with black spray paint at Christine Rathke Memorial Park, 7700 S. 68th St., on April 5 or 6. The caller stated he would work with the city to have the boys clean up the mess.

25 A garage and one side of a condo was damaged with spray paint in the 7000 block of West Rawson Avenue prior to 3:20 p.m. April 13.

OTHER

26 A 14-year-old boy at Franklin High School was arrested for disorderly conduct after he admitted using an outside web service to attack and take down the computer network at the Franklin School District, 8255 W. Forest Hill Ave., at 2:30 pm. April 7. This occurred on more than one occasion between Feb. 14 and Feb. 21. The incidents cost the district over $1,000 to troubleshoot and correct.

27 A 41-year-old man was arrested for drugged driving and was cited for an unsafe lane deviation in the 9900 block of West Loomis Road at about 12:45 p.m. April 8. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable, and was then transported to Milwaukee County Jail.

· Eleven Franklin residents reported an unknown subject used their identity and Social Security number to fraudulently file 2013 tax returns between April 7 and April 14.

· Franklin police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with one rescue call between April 7 and April 14.
