A designer bag containing assorted jewels valued at $80,000 was reportedly stolen from a woman in the 9300 block of South 35th Street on Friday, Franklin police say.
The victim told police that a man and woman in their early 30s approached her at about 5:15 p.m., and asked her for directions and then took the bag.
The victim believes the suspects followed her vehicle from a jewelry distributor in Chicago.
