BURGLARY

• An attempted burglary was made at a garage in the 9200 block of South Thorncrest Court prior to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 27. The door was damaged. Damage is estimated at $1,000.

THEFT

• Jewelry valued at $1,200 was taken from a residence in the 12100 block of West Jefferson Terrace prior to 2:35 p.m. Nov. 23. Acquaintances are suspected.

• About $10, prescription medications and cologne were taken from a vehicle in the 10200 block of West Deerwood Lane prior to 8 a.m. Nov. 24.

• A 70-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft after taking two wrenches valued at $20 from Menards, 10925 W. Speedway Drive, about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 25.

• Two men, ages 28 and 37, and a 27-year-old woman, all of Milwaukee, were arrested for theft after taking three laptop computer bags valued at $95 from Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., about 6:05 a.m. Nov. 27.

• A digital media player was taken from a residence in the 4400 block of West Sherwood Drive prior to 8:40 p.m. Nov. 27. Acquaintances are suspected.

• A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft after taking work gloves valued at $19 from Menards, 10925 W. Speedway Drive, about 10:45 a.m. Nov. 28.

ASSAULT

• A 37-year-old Franklin man was arrested for physical abuse of a child in the 3700 block of West Drexel Avenue about 12:45 a.m. Nov. 24.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

• A 49-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for his fourth drunken-driving offense after he drove into a ditch in the 10400 block of West St. Martins Road about 12:40 a.m. Nov. 25. He was taken to Wheaton Franciscan-Franklin for a blood draw. He also was cited for operating after revocation.

• A 28-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 7700 block of West Rawson Avenue about 4 a.m. Nov. 28. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.15. She also was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle.

• A 22-year-old Illinois man was arrested for drunken driving and eluding officers in the 5600 block of South 27th Street about 3 a.m. Nov. 29. He led officers on a 5.8-mile pursuit by speeding, driving through stoplights and turning off his headlights. His BAC was 0.16.

VANDALISM

• A sign was vandalized with blue spray paint in the 8200 block of South 116th Street prior to 11:07 a.m. Nov. 24.

• A mailbox was damaged in the 8000 block of South North Cape Road between 10 p.m. Nov. 24 and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 25. Damage is estimated at $150.

• A window was cracked at George Webb restaurant, 7105 S. 76th St., about 2 a.m. Nov. 26. Damage is estimated at $500.

OTHER

• A 14-year-old boy was arrested for disorderly conduct after he swore at an assistant principal at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., about 8:15 a.m. Nov. 24.

• A 19-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance in the 2800 block of West Plaza Drive about 1:30 p.m. Nov. 26.

• A 17-year-old boy was arrested for possession of tobacco products by a minor in the 9100 block of South 76th Street about 9:40 p.m. Nov. 26.

• A 46-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for vandalism and resisting police after she smashed a neighbor's window in the 8800 block of West Knoll Court about 8:15 a.m. Nov. 28.
