BURGLARY

• A residence in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle was burglarized between 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Oct. 21. A ring valued at $750 and food were taken. A diamond ring and shaving razor not belonging to the residents were also found. There were no signs of forced entry.

THEFT

• Two microphone cords were removed from a package at a residence in the 3400 block of West Skamra Avenue prior to 4:20 p.m. Oct. 22.

• A vehicle valued at $9,000 was taken from the Plaza Motel, 8151 S. 27th St., about 5 a.m. Oct. 25. An acquaintance is suspected.

DRUG POSSESSION

• A 16-year-old Oak Creek boy and 14-year-old Franklin boy were arrested for marijuana possession in the 2800 block of West Drexel Avenue about 10:45 a.m. Oct. 24.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

• A 50-year-old Greendale man was arrested for his second drunken-driving offense in the 7700 block of West Rawson Avenue about 3 p.m. Oct. 20. He was taken to Aurora St. Luke's Franklin Health Care Center for a blood draw. He also was cited for failure to yield right of way while making a left turn. A 25-year-old Indiana woman was cited for operating after suspension.

VANDALISM

• Halloween decorations were damaged at a yard in the 6600 block of South 122nd Street between 7 p.m. Oct. 18 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 19.

• A grassy area was damaged by a vehicle at Crystal Ridge Ski Hill, 7900 W. Crystal Ridge Drive, prior to 4:05 p.m. Oct. 23.

• A vehicle was scratched in the 7700 block of South Scepter Drive between 11 p.m. Oct. 23 and noon Oct. 24. Damage is estimated at $1,000.

OTHER

• A 17-year-old Franklin boy was arrested for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., about 10:25 a.m. Oct. 20.

• A 52-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for receiving stolen property after he was seen driving a vehicle with stolen license plates at 27th and Sycamore streets about 1:45 a.m. Oct. 22.

• A 20-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drug paraphernalia possession in the 6500 block of South 123rd Street about 7 a.m. Oct. 24.
