BURGLARY

• An attempted burglary was made at a residence in the 4600 block of West Park Court prior to 8:23 a.m. Sept. 30. A patio door frame was pried, but entry was not gained.

• Firearms, jewelry and money were taken from a residence in the 4200 block of West Carmel Drive prior to 2:10 p.m. Oct. 1. Two door frames and two small fire safes were damaged. Damage is estimated at $1,150.

THEFT

• A bicycle valued at about $800 was taken from a residence in the 7800 block of South Scepter Drive prior to 7:15 p.m. Sept. 30.

• A Global Positioning System valued at $200 was taken from a vehicle in the 6900 block of South Riverwood Boulevard between 11 a.m. and 11:15 p.m. Oct. 1. A window was smashed. Damage is estimated at $250.

• A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft after he attempted to take $327 worth of groceries from Sendik's, 5200 W. Rawson Ave., about 7:10 p.m. Oct. 1.

• A 19-year-old woman and 21-year-old man, both of Milwaukee, were arrested for theft after they removed, and later sold, items from a residence in the 4100 block of West Victory Creek Drive about 8:15 p.m. Oct. 1.

• A brass gate valve valued at $731 was taken from Packaging Corporation of America, 4620 W. Basswood Drive, prior to 11 a.m. Oct. 2.

ASSAULT

• A 14-year-old girl was arrested for battery after physically fighting with another girl at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., about 12:35 p.m. Sept. 28.

• A 19-year-old Franklin man was arrested for battery after physically fighting with a girl in the 7100 block of South 49th Street about 3:55 p.m. Sept. 30.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

• A 24-year-old Franklin man was arrested for his second drunken-driving offense in the 9500 block of West St. Martins Road about 1:15 a.m. Oct. 4. His blood-alcohol content was 0.14. He also was cited for operating after revocation.

VANDALISM

• A window screen was damaged at a residence in the 11400 block of West Mayers Drive prior to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 2.

OTHER

• A 27-year-old woman and 36-year-old man were cited for being patrons in a bar after hours at Eric's Setback, 6357 S. 27th St., about 3:15 a.m. Sept. 29.

• A 39-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct/prowling after he pounded on the doors and asked for money at about six random residences in the 4200 block of West College Avenue about 2:55 a.m. Sept. 30.

• A 21-year-old Burlington man was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon in the 2800 block of West Drexel Avenue about 1:20 p.m. Oct. 3. An 18-year-old man and 17-year-old boy, both of Burlington, and a 14-year-old Franklin boy were all arrested for drug paraphernalia possession.

• A 16-year-old Fox Point boy was arrested for violating curfew in the 8000 block of South 27th Street about 3 a.m. Oct. 4.

• A 28-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance at Traveler's Motel, 9419 S. 27th St., about 3:30 a.m. Oct. 4.

• Two Milwaukee men, ages 30 and 35, were arrested for prowling after they were seen taking pallets from Group II Communications, 11311 W. Forest Home Ave., about 9:20 p.m. Oct. 4.
