BURGLARY

• A digital camera valued at $300 was taken from a residence in the 9100 block of South 29th Street between 5 p.m. Sept. 21 and 3 p.m. Sept. 23. A window screen was cut open.

• A door was damaged in what appeared to be an attempted burglary at a residence in the 3600 block of West Acre Avenue prior to 10:20 a.m. Sept. 27. No entry was made. Damage is estimated at $200.

• A 44-year-old Milwaukee man and 48-year-old Franklin man were arrested for burglary in the 5200 block of South 23rd Street about 6:20 p.m. Sept. 27. Both were found to be involved in a residential burglary that occurred in the 7900 block of West Drexel Avenue on Sept. 18.

THEFT

• A vehicle was taken from the 6400 block of South 27th Street prior to 4:35 p.m. Sept. 21. An acquaintance is suspected.

• Several Global Positioning System units and citizens band radios were taken from vehicles at the Suburban Asphalt Company, 11251 W. Forest Home Ave., between 9:45 p.m. Sept. 21 and 10:45 a.m. Sept. 22. A barbed-wire fence around the property was cut.

• Two 17-year-old Franklin boys were arrested for theft after they were found to be in possession of a motorized cart from Sendik's at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., about 2:10 p.m. Sept. 24.

• Three wireless headsets, valued together at $360, were taken by an unidentified female suspect from Radio Shack, 6507 S. 27th St., prior to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 25.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

• A 41-year-old Franklin man was arrested for his third drunken-driving offense in the 4600 block of West Rawson Avenue about 8:15 a.m. Sept. 22. His blood-alcohol content was 0.23. He also was cited for failing to obey a red traffic signal.

VANDALISM

• Newly poured concrete was damaged in the 9700 block of South 35th Street prior to 8:30 a.m. Sept. 25.

• A 14-year-old Franklin girl was arrested for vandalism and disorderly conduct after she broke a door and caused a disturbance at a residence in the 8800 block of West Mourning Dove Court about 6:45 p.m. Sept. 27.

OTHER

• A 34-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he threatened patrons with an ax handle at Romney's Place, 7508 S. North Cape Road, about 12:25 a.m. Sept. 22.

• A 24-year-old Illinois man was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing police after harassing customers and employees at Starbucks, 6537 S. 27th St., about 9:55 p.m. Sept. 22.

• A 16-year-old boy and 22-year-old man, both of Franklin, were arrested for disorderly conduct after physically fighting in the 7700 block of South 83rd Street about 3:55 p.m. Sept. 25.

• A 19-year-old West Allis woman was arrested for violating absolute sobriety in the 11100 block of West Forest Home Avenue about 3:05 a.m. Sept. 27. Her BAC was 0.06. An 18-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for underage drinking and having open intoxicants in the vehicle.

• A 23-year-old Franklin man was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs after he struck a curb at 68th Street and Brunn Drive about 2 p.m. Sept. 27. He was taken to Wheaton Franciscan-Franklin for a blood draw. The results were not available.
