Police Report: Sept. 22

BURGLARY

• Tools valued at $1,050 were taken from a garage in the 6800 block of West Kathleen Court prior to 8:35 p.m. Sept. 16. Other items were damaged. Damage is estimated at $225. There were no signs of forced entry.

• Four Milwaukee County Sheriff's badges were taken from a garage in the 10200 block of West Deerwood Lane prior to 8 p.m. Sept. 17. No information was available on how entry was made.

• A burglary attempt was made at a residence in the 5000 block of West Berkshire Drive prior to 5 a.m. Sept. 19. A screen door and patio door were found open and numerous pry marks were observed. Nothing was missing.

• Jewelry valued at $6,400 and about $1,300 was taken from a residence in the 6800 block of South 35th Street between 4 p.m. Sept. 19 and 12:30 a.m. Sept. 20. A window was pried open.

• A patio door was pried at a residence in the 3900 block of West Cypress Lane prior to 5:40 p.m. Sept. 19. Entry was not gained.

THEFT

• A laptop computer valued at $800 was taken from a vehicle in the 8800 block of South Golden Court between 3:30 p.m. Sept. 18 and 10:45 a.m. Sept. 19. The driver's side door was damaged.

• A diamond ring valued at $1,500 was taken from a residence in the 7300 block of South 69th Street prior to 8:37 a.m. Sept. 19. An acquaintance is suspected.

• A 38-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft after taking a candy bar and a box of condoms from Mobil, 7103 S. 27th St., about 6:25 p.m. Sept. 19.

DRUG POSSESSION

• Two Franklin men, ages 23 and 25, and a 20-year-old West Allis woman were arrested for marijuana possession in the 11300 block of West St. Martins Road about 6:15 a.m. Sept. 18.

• A Greenfield boy and Hales Corners boy, both 17, were arrested for marijuana possession in the 6500 block of South Whitnall Edge Road about 10:05 p.m. Sept. 19.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

• A 38-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 9700 block of West Loomis Road about 2:40 a.m. Sept. 18. His blood-alcohol content was 0.15.

• A 70-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving at Puetz Road and Hunting Park Drive about 3:50 a.m. Sept. 19. His BAC was 0.14.

VANDALISM

• Graffiti was carved into cement at Balloonee Toonz, 6359 S. 27th St., prior to 10:16 a.m. Sept. 17.

• A window was damaged at a residence in the 12300 block of West Oakwood Road between 5 p.m. Sept. 18 and 1 a.m. Sept. 19.

• A vehicle was scratched in the 7700 block of South Scepter Drive between 7:30 p.m. Sept. 18 and 8:45 a.m. Sept. 19.

• A vehicle's windshield was smashed at Rawson Pub, 5621 W. Rawson Ave., about 12:30 a.m. Sept. 20. Damage is estimated at $300.

OTHER

• A 24-year-old man was arrested for resisting arrest after he fled from officers at 35th Street and College Avenue about 11:30 a.m. Sept. 15. Police eventually subdued him with a stun gun, and he was taken into custody for a valid commitment for sexual assault.

• A 14-year-old Franklin boy was arrested for operating without a driver's license and underage drinking in the 9200 block of West Loomis Road about 11:10 p.m. Sept. 18. He also was cited for failing to obey a red light.

• A 16-year-old Franklin boy was arrested for violating curfew in the 9300 block of South 51st Street about 2:35 a.m. Sept. 19.

• A 46-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for stalking in the 6600 block of West Charles Court about 4:15 p.m. Sept. 19. He had been repeatedly text messaging an acquaintance after being asked not to.

• A 30-year-old Racine man, 24-year-old Oak Creek man and 22-year-old Franklin woman were arrested for disorderly conduct after physically fighting in the 3200 block of West Forest Hill Avenue about 2:30 a.m. Sept. 20.
