Two drivers were taken to Froedtert Hospital yesterday after an accident in the 5100 block of West Rawson Avenue.
According to a Police Department news release, an 80-year-old Franklin woman driving northbound ran a red light at the 51st Street and Rawson Avenue intersection.
Her vehicle struck a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old Franklin man. Injuries to the woman and the man are not life threatening.
Police are still investigating.
