1An unidentified male entered someone's room at the El Rancho Motel, 8973 S. 27th St., pointed a black, semi-automatic handgun at him and demanded his pills at about 10:05 p.m. June 16. The male, described as 6 feet tall with a medium build, short dark hair and wearing tan-colored gloves and a red sweatshirt pulled up over his nose, stole about 100 to 115 Oxycodone pills, one bottle containing about 25 Oxycontin pills and $30 from the victim's bedside table before fleeing. The suspect was last seen running north along the upstairs open hallway.
2A FedEx envelope and a bank envelope containing a check were stolen from a kitchen table inside a locked residence in the 9500 block of West Ryan Road sometime between 5 p.m. June 13 and 3:30 p.m. June 16. The person gained entry to the home by forcing open the front door, breaking the deadbolt and door frame in the process.
3A green, men's 10-speed bicycle and a light blue women's eight-speed Huffy bicycle were stolen from an underground garage in the 6900 block of South Riverwood Boulevard sometime between 1 a.m. June 14 and midnight June 15.
4A 28-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting, obstructing and operating after suspension after she shoplifted candy at Speedway, 10001 W. Church St., at about 11:35 a.m. June 16. The suspect had previously shoplifted four cartons of candy at Speedway on May 28 and was taken into custody for having two valid warrants through the Greenfield and Franklin police departments.
5A woman's purse was stolen while she was having her baby shower at Ken Windl Park, 11615 W. Rawson Ave., between 1 and 4:30 p.m. June 16.
6A 55-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman, both of Hales Corners, were arrested for shoplifting $95 worth of tools at Menards, 10925 W. Speedway Drive, at about 11:55 a.m. June 17.
7A woman's wallet was stolen out of a vehicle parked at Tuckaway Country Club, 6901 W. Drexel Ave. The suspect used the debit card to make fraudulent purchases at several businesses in West Milwaukee sometime between 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. June 17.
8A 17-year-old West Bend male was arrested June 21 for theft of a firearm after he stole a Smith and Wesson .380 Air Weight revolver from a vehicle parked in the 6600 block of South Parkedge Circle between 1 and 2 a.m. June 18.
9A 2008 Volvo semi tractor and a Great Dane trailer were stolen from JMB Trucking, 5825 W. Ryan Road, sometime between 2 and 10:30 p.m. June 18. Illinois State Patrol located the stolen tractor and trailer several days later after they were abandoned on I-80 westbound at Torrence in Lansing, Illinois.
10A 31-year-old Delavan man was arrested for shoplifting potting soil and sunglasses at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 6:15 p.m. June 18.
11Car keys, house keys and a garage door opener were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 8800 block of South 84th Street sometime between 10 p.m. June 18 and 4:30 a.m. June 19.
12A 47-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting a camera and electronics at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 4:30 p.m. June 19.
13A 47-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting (sixth offense) after he stole watches, valued at $65, at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 7 p.m. June 20. He was also cited for trespassing.
14A 19-year-old Greenfield man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing two DVDs in his waistband at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 5:40 p.m. June 21.
15A 56-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $170 worth of clothing and makeup at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 10:30 p.m. June 21.
16A 54-year-old Connecticut man was arrested for possession of marijuana and a 50-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the 10300 block of South 60th Street at about 8:40 p.m. June 22.
17A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for fourth-offense drunken driving in the 7900 block of West Loomis Road at about 2:35 a.m. June 18. He was also taken into custody for bail jumping and for having a valid warrant through the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department for third-offense drunken driving and third-offense operating after revocation. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.
18A 29-year-old Kenosha man was arrested for fourth-offense drunken driving and operating after revocation in the 7500 block of West Rawson Avenue at about 3:05 a.m. June 22. He was transported to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.
19A 46-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 6300 block of South 27th Street at about 7:45 p.m. June 22. He was transported to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.
20A caller reported an Eagle Scout project was vandalized on the Oak Leaf Bike Trail in the 6800 block of South 68th Street at about 2:15 p.m. June 16. The suspect(s) kicked four boards out of the wildlife observation platform, causing about $100 worth of damage.
21A 36-year-old man was arrested after he eluded a traffic stop on South 27th Street and West Grange Avenue and then fled from police during a 1.6 mile pursuit at speeds up to 85 mph and ran a red light on South 27th Street and West Layton Avenue at about 6:05 a.m. June 18. The pursuit was terminated at South 27th Street and West Bolivar Avenue.
22A resident in the 7700 block of South North Cape Road reported someone called her stating he was from Publisher's Clearing House and that she had won $30 million dollars and a Mercedes Benz but stated that she needed to pay $8,984 in taxes to claim her prize at about 9 a.m. June 19. The telephone scammer, who told the resident her prizes would be delivered to her home at about 12:30 that day, did not receive any of her bank account information and no money was lost/stolen.
23A 59-year-old Franklin man was arrested for recklessly endangering safety by use of a weapon in the 3500 block of West Southwood Drive at about 6:50 p.m. June 19. According to police, the suspect recklessly handled the gun, causing the gun to discharge a round, and the bullet ended up going through a neighboring home.
24A 52-year-old Waterford man was arrested for obstructing an officer after he switched seats with his wife after he was pulled over to avoid being cited for operating while suspended in the 9400 block of West Ryan Road on June 20. He was also cited for operating after suspension and unsafe passing on the right, and his wife was cited for a seatbelt violation and received a verbal warning about switching seats with her husband.
25A caller reported a woman was "yelling F-bombs" at her two children — who were about 5 years old — while pumping gas at 7-Eleven, 7610 W. Rawson Ave., and then almost ran over the median and was swerving all over the road at about 1:05 p.m. June 20. Police made contact with the woman, told her about the complaint and warned her about her behavior.
· Franklin police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with one rescue call and two fire calls between June 16 and June 22.
