1 About $2,000 worth of tools and a Black and Decker tool set were stolen from a locked garden shed at a residence in the 6300 block of South 27th Street at about 3 a.m. May 11. The unidentified suspect(s) cut the lock off the shed to gain entry.
2 Two TV sets, a tablet computer, an Xbox gaming system, two rings and a laptop computer and case were stolen from a locked residence in the 3400 block of West Forest Hill Avenue at about 10:10 a.m. May 13. The resident found the handle to her door broken off and saw a darker green Toyota with two occupants, the driver described as stocky white male between 25 and 30 years old, driving through two residential yards while speeding away from her residence toward West Drexel Avenue. An officer chased the vehicle for about two miles before the pursuit ended.
3 An unidentified male broke into the used battery area at Sam's Wholesale Club, 6705 S. 27th St., stole about 15 old car batteries and caused about $500 in damage to the door and security plate at about 3 a.m. May 14. The suspect, described as a male with a blue or gray hoodie pulled over his head, fled in a full-sized white GMC van with no side windows.
4 $130 worth of liquor was stolen from Walgreens, 7130 S. 76th St., on May 10.
5 A golf bag containing nine golf clubs and 12 golf balls, valued at $2,970, was stolen out of a vehicle parked in the 9100 block of West Elm Court sometime between 6:45 p.m. May 10 and 11:30 a.m. May 13. There were no signs of forced entry.
6 A wallet was stolen out of a woman's purse in her office at Aurora Advanced Healthcare Woman's Pavilion, 4202 W. Oakwood Park Court, sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. May 14. Several credit cards were used to make fraudulent purchases at various locations in Milwaukee.
7 An unidentified male driving a burgundy Honda Civic filled multiple gas cans with gas at Kwik Trip, 10750 W. Speedway Drive, left the gas nozzle on the ground and fled without paying at about 1:05 p.m. May 14.
8 A .40-caliber, semi-automatic Springfield Armory handgun in a black plastic case and two 16-round magazines were stolen from the trunk of the owner's girlfriend's vehicle while it was parked at the Embassy Motel, 8253 S. 27th St., at 8:50 p.m. May 15.
9 An unidentified man shoplifted 13 bottles of Malibu Rum, valued at $25.50 each, from Walgreens, 7144 S. 76th St., at about 1:55 p.m. May 16. The man is described as a white male in his early 50s wearing glasses, a dark-colored hooded jacket, denim pants and athletic shoes.
10 A 39-year-old West Bend man stole two cartons of Newport cigarettes, valued at $150, from Kwik Trip, 10750 W. Speedway Drive, and then fled in a black Ford Taurus at about 1:35 a.m. May 17. Police attempted to stop the suspect's vehicle in the 9500 block of West Drexel Avenue, but the man led police on a high-speed pursuit for about 14 miles.
11 A 48-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting six bracelets and a shirt at Goodwill Industries, 6941 S. Riverwood Boulevard, at about 3:45 p.m. May 17.
12 A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting and a 50-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting (fourth offense), resisting an officer and having a warrant for shoplifting through the Greenfield Police Department after they were caught shoplifting diapers, a humidifier, baby bottles, Jimmy Dean sausages and a Gravy bowl, valued at $113, at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 9:15 a.m. May 18.
13 A man hid DVD movies in the fence of the garden center at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., and then returned to the store in a blue vehicle to retrieve the movies at about 4:45 p.m. May 18. The suspect was later identified and police are attempting to locate him.
14 A 20-year-old Hales Corners man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and possession of a prescription drug without a prescription (Quetiapine) in the 6300 block of South 108th Street at about 2:45 a.m. May 18.
15 A 29-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving (second offense) in the parking lot at the Sunrise Motel, 9347 S. 27th St., at about 2:30 a.m. May 16. Her blood alcohol content was 0.18.
16 A 50-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving (third offense) at the Skyway Motel, 8361 S. 27th St., at about 5:25 p.m. May 16. Her blood alcohol content was 0.21.
17 A 20-year-old Greendale man was arrested for drunken driving on South 27th and West Sycamore streets at about 5:30 a.m. May 17. The suspect also admitted to stealing a bottle of vodka and an Ultra brand dust can from Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., after his arrest.
18 A 32-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for drunken driving on South Deerwood Lane and West St. Martins Road at about 2:30 a.m. May 19. She refused chemical breath testing and was taken into custody.
19 A resident reported someone wrote a sexually explicit comment on his Jeep while it was parked in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle between the evening hours of May 12 and 7 p.m. May 13.
20 A 33-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing after he physically assaulted his children's mother and grabbed her by the neck at her residence in the 7800 block of South 66th Street and then fled in a black SUV at about 6:30 p.m. May 13. Police located him at about 8:30 p.m.
21 A 25-year-old woman was cited for telephone harassment after she repeatedly sent threatening and vulgar text messages to a resident in the 7800 block of South Tuckaway Shores Drive on May 15.
22 Two male juveniles were cited for disorderly conduct after they got into a physical altercation in the boy's locker room at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., at about 2 p.m. May 15.
23 A female and a child were standing in the middle of the road in the 5200 block of West Rawson Avenue, and the female was yelling "take us to the police department" at about 3:35 p.m. May 18. The two then got into a tan Chevy Blazer that was last seen traveling northbound on South 51st Street. An officer responded to the area and recovered a gun in the 5700 block of South 51st Street.
·Two Franklin residents reported an unknown person used their Social Security number to file a fraudulent 2013 income tax return between May 13 and May 18.
·Franklin police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with two rescue calls between May 13 and May 18.
