1Three light fixtures and 12 "exit" signs were damaged and graffiti was painted on the interior walls of the loading dock at the closed Sentry store at 7140 S. 76th St. between 3:30 p.m. Aug. 20 and 8:30 a.m. Sept. 11. The building was entered through an unlocked door. Police are following up.
2New car parts, including a set of brakes for a Hyundai, an oil filter and oil containers, two paint sprayers and a sandblaster, were stolen from a pole barn storage facility in the 10300 block of West Oakwood Road between Sept. 5 and Sept. 13. The front door window was smashed to gain entry. According to the victim, this was the third time the building was burglarized this year.
3Hand tools and other items were stolen out of a locked trailer in the shipping area at Dash Medical Gloves, 9635 S. Franklin Drive, between 6 p.m. Sept. 5 and 10 a.m. Sept. 10. The trailer's lock was cut by the perpetrator.
4A boy's Mongoose bicycle was stolen from a home in the 3600 block of West College Avenue on Sept. 7.
5Three tire rims, rear taillights, two seats, a knob shifter, a rear antenna and a license plate were stolen off a vehicle at Affordable Auto Body, 5525 W. Rawson Ave., between 5:30 p.m. Sept. 11 and 7 a.m. Sept. 12.
6A cellphone and a woman's wallet were reported stolen out of a locked vehicle at Whitnall Park Golf Course, 6701 S. Park Road, at 10:50 a.m. Sept. 12. One of the vehicle's windows was broken during the theft.
7A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 11:20 a.m. Sept. 12.
8A 70-year-old Nevada woman was arrested for shoplifting $60 worth of merchandise she concealed in her purse at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., about 4 p.m. Sept. 12.
9A 36-year-old woman and a 56-year-old woman, both of Milwaukee, were arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., about 9 a.m. Sept. 13.
10A 62-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 9:45 a.m. Sept. 13.
11A $135 Garmin GPS unit was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 7500 block of South 75th Street between 7:30 p.m. Sept. 13 and 4:45 p.m. Sept. 14.
12A 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were arrested for shoplifting after they were seen concealing merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 2:10 p.m. Sept. 15.
13A resident of the 4400 block of West Sherwood Drive who went outside because he heard a female crying was beaten inside his garage by a man he did not know about 3:10 a.m. Sept. 13. His head and shoulder were bruised, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police are investigating.
14A 29-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the 6500 block of South 35th Street about 6 p.m. Sept. 10. In addition, he was cited for not having insurance and because his vehicle had a defective brake lamp.
15A 17-year-old Oak Creek boy and a 13-year-old Franklin girl were arrested for possession of marijuana and cited for underage drinking after a caller reported two people smoking something out of a pipe in a backyard in the 7000 block of South Cypress Court at 1:45 p.m. Sept. 14.
16A 62-year-old Franklin man and a 35-year-old Milwaukee woman were arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 6600 block of South Whitnall Edge Road at 4:50 a.m. Sept. 15. In addition, the woman was taken into custody on a Glendale Police Department warrant.
17A 45-year-old Franklin man was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing an investigation at the Modern 41 Motel, 9375 S. 27th St., at 4:55 a.m. Sept. 15. In addition, the man was taken into custody on a felony warrant for cocaine possession with intent to deliver through the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office. A 31-year-old Cudahy woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
18A 54-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for impeding traffic in the 8300 block of South 27th Street at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 10. His blood-alcohol content was 0.08.
19A van's windows and driver-side mirror were broken and its roof dented outside the Embassy Motel, 8253 S. 27th St., between 7 p.m. Sept. 6 and 7 p.m. Sept. 13. The victim identified a possible suspect; police are following up.
20A 29-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct after he got mad at a bank employee at PyraMax Bank, 9000 W. Drexel Ave., and threatened her about 8:15 a.m. Sept. 14. The man was upset because the bank opened a few minutes later than 8 a.m., and after the employee apologized for the delay, he told the employee he was a firefighter and that she shouldn't be surprised if her house burns down. The man left the business and was cited by mail.
21A 21-year-old Franklin man was arrested for eluding police and resisting arrest after he fled from an officer who attempted to pull him over for having multiple outstanding traffic tickets. He crashed his vehicle in the 3000 block of West Drexel Avenue, then ran off about 6:35 p.m. Sept. 15. He was soon captured and taken into custody on a probation hold.
22A 19-year-old man was cited for underage drinking after a caller reported someone screaming and pounding on a door in the 4000 block of West College Avenue at 3:10 a.m. Sept. 16. His blood-alcohol content was 0.15.
· Franklin police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with two rescue calls and one fire call between Sept. 10 and Sept. 16.
