1A 28-inch snowblower, valued at $1,400, was stolen from an unlocked shed in the 8800 block of South 84th Street between 7 p.m. Aug. 19 and 1 p.m. Aug. 21.
2Someone smashed open a door, punched holes in the walls, broke multiple items and bottles and threw a rock through a window at the Golf Park, 11027 S. 27th St., before 1:45 p.m. Aug. 21. The damage appeared similar to a break-in that was discovered June 13. Police are following up with the owner to view video surveillance footage. A damage estimate was unavailable at the time of the report.
3A window screen was cut and a home entered in the 6600 block of South Whitnall Edge Road. The incident was reported at 10:11 a.m. Aug. 24.
4About $4 in coins and 10 oxycodone tablets were stolen from the center console of an unlocked vehicle in a driveway in the 3900 block of West Minnesota Avenue between the late evening hours of Aug. 20 and 9 a.m. Aug. 21.
5An unidentified woman attempted to shoplift a cart full of merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., but fled east toward Tires Plus after the door alarm sounded about 4:45 p.m. Aug. 21. The woman left the cart behind after setting off the alarm. Police were unable to find her.
6An unidentified male shoplifted a steering wheel locking tool and an extension cord at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., about 5:25 p.m. Aug. 21.
7A red and blue motorcycle trailer, valued at $1,500, was stolen from in front of a business in the 10700 block of South 27th Street between 10 p.m. Aug. 21 and 10 a.m. Aug. 22. The trailer was chained to a post and the chain was cut.
8A resident of the 8700 block of South 84th Street reported six pieces of outgoing mail were stolen out of his mailbox between 8:30 a.m. and noon Aug. 22.
9An unidentified man shoplifted a $159 Skil Worm Drive circular saw at Menards, 10925 W. Speedway Drive, at 12:20 p.m. Aug. 22. The man, described as a 6-foot white man in his 40s with a blonde mullet haircut and wearing a black T-shirt with cut-off sleeves and cargo shorts, fled the security office after being detained. He was last seen driving toward Forest Home Avenue in a small, red Chevy pickup truck with no tailgate or rear bumper.
10A man shoplifted merchandise at Dunham's Sports, 6525 S. 27th St., at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 23. The man, a 6-foot Hispanic male with black hair and a shaved beard, selected an unknown number of items and left the lot in a gray, mid-2000s Dodge Intrepid.
11A wallet was stolen off a table inside a home in the 6300 block of South 27th Street before 6 p.m. Aug. 24. The resident identified a possible suspect and police are following up.
12A backpack containing a $650 iPad and an $800 Toshiba Satellite laptop computer was stolen out of a locked vehicle in the parking lot at On The Border, 10741 S. 27th St., between midnight and 2 a.m. Aug. 25. A window may have been left open.
13A table saw was reported stolen from a locked trailer at Kraft Music, 4700 W. Ryan Road, at 7:05 a.m. Aug. 26. The lock on the trailer was cut to gain entry.
14A 16-year-old Franklin boy was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 35th Street and Madison Boulevard at 9:15 p.m. Aug. 23.
15A 21-year-old West Allis woman was arrested for drunken driving and cited for an unsafe lane deviation at 51st Street and Rawson Avenue at 1:10 a.m. Aug. 22. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.19.
16Two mailboxes were reported vandalized in the 4100 block of West Mary Ann Drive at 7:15 a.m. Aug. 25. One of the victims told police she heard voices and banging about 3:30 a.m. Damage totaled $160.
17A 33-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct, vandalism and driving a motorcycle without an endorsement after he punctured a tire on another driver's vehicle with a folding knife during a road rage incident at 76th Street and Oakwood Road at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 25.
18A 25-year-old Milwaukee man who was arrested for shoplifting ammunition at Gander Mountain, 6939 S. Riverwood Blvd., was taken into custody for possession of a firearm by a felon after police discovered two guns in his vehicle at 2 p.m. Aug. 21. Two other men, ages 24 and 18, and a 17-year-old girl were arrested for shoplifting ammunition, and the girl was taken into custody for obstructing an investigation and disorderly conduct after she refused to identify herself, tried to kick out a squad window and created a "water mess" in her booking cell.
19Police responded to a residence in the 6300 block of South 35th Street after a resident reported a neighbor stood in front of his bedroom window, fully nude, about 8:55 a.m. Aug. 22. The caller stated the neighbor did not make any lewd gestures, but also did not hurry to retreat when he made eye contact with her. Police questioned the neighbor, a 50-year-old man, who stated he opened the curtains after he showered and was nude, but he saw no one outside at the time. The caller did not wish to file charges, and the man received a warning.
20A resident called police to report that a maroon van with Voodoo dolls in it and dirty underwear hanging in the back was driving around the parking lot at Hodachs, 9830 W. St. Martins Road, about 2:15 p.m. Aug. 22. Police found the van in the parking lot at Target and questioned the driver, who stated she was looking at the business because she was possibly buying it. She was advised of the complaint and left the area.
