THEFT

1A $500 radio was stolen from a room at Lake Terrace East, 6751 S. 68th St., between 10 a.m. Feb. 8 and noon Feb. 18.

2A man passed a fraudulent prescription at Pick 'n Save, 7201 S. 76th St., Feb. 14. Police have identified a suspect and are seeking him for questioning.

3A FedEx package containing a computer modem was stolen off a porch in the 7100 block of West Rawson Avenue after 12:31 p.m. Feb. 15.

4Two men attempted to pass a bad $180 check to purchase cigarettes and gift cards at Pick 'n Save, 7780 S. Lovers Lane Road, at 8:10 p.m. Feb. 18. The check was declined and the men took the check with them. Police are investigating.

5An employee called police after a man attempted to cash a fraudulent check at Harris Bank, 7000 S. 76th St., then fled in a black conversion van at 9:55 a.m. Feb. 19. Police identified the man and are seeking him for questioning.

6The driver of a white Nissan left without paying for $52 worth of gas at Andy's, 5120 W. Ryan Road, at 1:25 p.m. Feb. 19. The car was last seen traveling north on 51st Street.

7A package delivered by the postal service was stolen from a mailbox in the 6600 block of South Princeton Drive. The package was delivered on Feb. 15, and the report was made at 3:25 p.m. Feb. 20.

8A 23-year-old woman and a 25-year-old woman, both of Milwaukee, were arrested for shoplifting clothing and skin care products at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 8:45 p.m. Feb. 20. The 23-year-old woman was taken into custody on a West Allis Police Department warrant.

9Multiple packages of Crest Whitening Strips were stolen at Target, 7800 S. Lovers Lane Road, on Feb. 21 and Feb. 22.

10A 23-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for shoplifting $37 worth of Yu-Gi-Oh cards at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 11:25 a.m. Feb. 21.

11A 63-year-old Oak Creek woman was arrested for shoplifting grocery items at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 21.

12A 20-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting a men's razor at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 5:55 p.m. Feb. 22.

13A 32-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman, both of Milwaukee, were arrested for shoplifting after they were seen concealing merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 5:05 p.m. Feb. 23.

14A 34-year-old man took another man's car keys and 2002 Subaru Impreza, without permission, from the parking lot at On The Border, 10741 S. 27th St., at 1:30 a.m. Feb. 24. The car was found, undamaged, in front of a bar in the 400 block of Wells Street in Milwaukee about 4 a.m.

15A 55-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting after she was seen trying to leave with unpaid merchandise at Goodwill Industries, 6941 S. Riverwood Blvd., at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 24.

16A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 3:25 p.m. Feb. 24.

17A resident of the 2900 block of West Plaza Drive called police at 5:15 p.m. Feb. 25 to report that a package delivered to his home Feb. 14 had been stolen from his porch.

18A large sum of money was stolen from a woman's wallet while she was shopping at Pick 'n Save, 7201 S. 76th St., before 6:50 p.m. Feb. 25. She told police she accidentally left her purse in her grocery cart after she left the store, and when she went back to claim it the money was missing from her wallet. Police are following up.

ASSAULT

19A teenage boy was physically assaulted by two men in the basement of a home in the 8700 block of West Puetz Road about 3:15 p.m. Feb. 24. The men fled the area in a Kia SUV and possibly damaged a mailbox in the 8800 block of West Puetz Road. Police are seeking two suspects for questioning.

DRUG POSSESSION

20A 28-year-old Franklin man was arrested for possession of marijuana and cited for driving without a license in the 9200 block of West Loomis Road at 7:45 a.m. Feb. 18.

21A 17-year-old boy was arrested for possession of marijuana and cited for driving with a suspended license and not wearing a seatbelt in the 2600 block of West Rawson Avenue at 3:10 p.m. Feb. 21.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

22A 25-year-old California man was arrested for drunken driving after he was pulled over for driving 10 mph in the 2400 block of West Drexel Avenue at 10:15 p.m. Feb. 21. His blood-alcohol content was unavailable.

23A 53-year-old West Allis man was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, in the 7600 block of South Mission Hills Drive at 11:40 p.m. Feb. 21. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable at the time of the report.

24A 21-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for having expired registration in the parking lot at George Webb's, 7105 S. 76th St., at 3:15 a.m. Feb. 23. His BAC was 0.11. Officers also arrested a 56-year-old male passenger in the car after he refused to remain in the vehicle during the investigation.

25A 24-year-old Hartland woman was arrested for drunken driving and cited for speeding in the parking lot at Platt Construction, 7407 S. 27th St., at 3:35 a.m. Feb. 23. Her BAC was 0.18.

26An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for violating absolute sobriety during a traffic stop in the 6800 block of South 27th Street at 1:20 a.m. Feb. 24. Her BAC was 0.05. Passengers in her car, two 19-year-old Milwaukee women, were arrested for underage drinking.

27A 23-year-old Greendale man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, and cited for speeding in the 7200 block of Horizon Drive at 2 a.m. Feb. 24. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.

ACCIDENTS

28A 20-year-old Franksville man was taken to the hospital after a medical condition apparently caused him to run a red light and strike a vehicle at Rawson Avenue and 76th Street at 7:18 p.m. Feb. 15. Paramedics later confirmed the driver had low blood sugar and passed out prior to the collision. No other injuries were reported.

VANDALISM

29A pickup truck's window was broken in the 7100 block of West Rawson Avenue between 4 p.m. Feb. 16 and 8 a.m. Feb. 17.

30A car's tire was slashed and a bucket of plaster was dropped on the car while it was parked at The Home Depot, 6489 S. 27th St., before 12:10 p.m. Feb. 21. The owner was able to get the plaster off the car, but a profanity was scratched into the driver-side and there were scratches on the hood and side of the car.

31A special patrol was requested in the 6500 block of South 121st Street after a resident reported the flag on his mailbox was bent at 12:40 p.m. Feb. 22. An officer also noted that flags on four mailboxes were bent on South 121st Street, and one in the 12000 block of West Steven Place.

32A man called police after a co-worker dented his car's driver-side door in the parking lot at Two Men and a Truck, 9622 S. Franklin Drive, about 8 p.m. Feb. 24. The owner of the car stated he was arguing with his co-worker when the man kicked the door of his 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo, causing the damage. Police are following up.

OTHER

33A resident of the 6800 block of West Kathleen Court found a dead raccoon on the hood of his car at 4:30 a.m. Feb. 18. The resident then drove to the Police Department with the dead raccoon on the car and the raccoon slid off the hood while he was driving. When the resident arrived at the Police Department he reported finding a slight scratch on the hood where the raccoon had been.

34A county worker was cited for loss of load after his county dump truck spilled cold asphalt patch chunks on the roadway at Puetz Road and 68th Street at 1:10 p.m. Feb. 18. The worker was cleaning up the asphalt debris when an officer arrived. He said he wasn't sure how the conveyor got turned on.

35Someone poured several cases of soda out in front of homes in the 3600 block of West Sherwood Drive between 7 and 8 p.m. Feb. 21. A special patrol was requested in the area.

36A 30-year-old Cudahy man was cited for disorderly conduct after he became so angry he began shaking, shouted a profanity and slammed the main entrance door at Verizon Wireless, 6531 S. 27th St., at 6:45 p.m. Feb. 23.

37Officers responding to a report of a man armed with a knife and "acting crazy" in the 6300 block of South 27th Street arrested a 47-year-old man on a Wisconsin Community Corrections warrant for fifth-offense drunken driving at 8:35 p.m. Feb. 23.

38A resident reported possible cougar tracks in the snow behind the Polish Center of Wisconsin, 6941 S. 68th St., at 9:55 a.m. Feb. 25. The tracks, about 3-inches in length, were photographed. Officers said the track did not appear large enough to be a cougar track, but 10 photos were taken and a message was left for the state Department of Natural Resources to check the tracks. The tracks were spotted at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 25, and were not there the previous day, according to the caller.

39A resident of the 3700 block of West Southland Drive was cited for harboring a vicious animal after his dog got away from him and attacked another dog about 3:45 p.m. Feb. 25. The dog that was attacked was taken to a veterinarian for treatment of multiple puncture wounds. Police are following up.

40A 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, both of Milwaukee, were arrested for disorderly conduct after a loud altercation at the Sunrise Motel, 8361 S. 27th St., at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 25. Upon arrival, officers heard a female yelling, "Someone call for help," out a back window, and police forced their way into the room. The man and woman told officers the fight was only verbal and had begun over expired sunflower seeds purchased at a corner grocery store.
