1A laptop computer, television and several pieces of jewelry were stolen from a locked residence in the 8000 block of West South County Line Road prior to 2:23 p.m. Nov. 26. The back door was kicked in to gain entry.
2A few pieces of jewelry and $5,000 were stolen from a locked residence in the 3600 block of West College Avenue between 4 and 9 p.m. Nov. 26. A sliding glass patio door was pried open.
3A $5 pillowcase, a $10 book and a pair of $25 cubic zirconia earrings were stolen from a locked residence in the 6600 block of South Whitnall Edge Road between 2 and 6 p.m. Nov. 30. A sliding patio door was pried open.
4A 44-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for burglary and vandalism after he stole beer and cigarettes from Hodach's Citgo, about 1 a.m. Dec. 3. A rock was used to break a glass door. He also was taken into custody for a probation violation.
5A $70 MP3 docking station and a $25 iron were stolen from a guest room at Staybridge Suites, 9575 S. 27th St., between 11:35 a.m. Nov. 16 and 5:35 a.m. Nov. 19. Police are seeking a 21-year-old woman for questioning.
6A GPS unit and $5 in change were stolen from the center console of an unlocked vehicle in the 6500 block of South 46th Street between 6:45 p.m. Nov. 25 and 7 a.m. Nov. 26.
7An employee called police to report four unidentified women shoplifted two 20-gallon plastic totes, valued at $18 each, at Target, 7800 S. Lovers Lane Road, between 6:19 and 6:42 p.m. Nov. 26. It was unknown if there was any other merchandise hidden inside the totes. Franklin police are following up with Oak Creek police, who arrested four people suspected of a similar incident in their city.
8Loose change was stolen out of an unlocked truck in a driveway in the 4100 block of West Carmel Drive between the late evening hours of Nov. 26 and morning hours of Nov. 27.
9A 26-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for shoplifting a $75 videogame controller at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 27.
At 5:30 p.m. Nov. 27, a Franklin reported his personal identification information was used to open several store credit cards that were used to make purchases without his consent.
A Franklin resident reported her credit card information was used to fraudulently pay a We Energies bill that did not belong to her at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 27.
9A 53-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for shoplifting undisclosed grocery items at Pick 'n Save, 7780 S. Lovers Lane Road, at 8:50 p.m. Nov. 27. She used the self-checkout to shoplift items on Nov. 10, Nov. 17 and Nov. 22, and was arrested when she returned to the store Nov. 27.
10A 40-year-old woman was cited for theft after she stole a $300 gas grill from a patio in the 7900 block of West Coventry Drive between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 28.
11An iPod Touch was stolen from a bag at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., Nov. 28. A suspect was located Dec. 1 after she tried to register the iPod. Police are following up.
12An 18-year-old Caledonia woman was arrested for shoplifting makeup at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., shortly after 1 p.m. Nov. 29.
13A musical compact mixer and a musical keyboard were reported stolen from Kraft Music, 4659 W. Basswood Drive, at 2:25 p.m. Nov. 29. The theft occurred on Nov. 28. Police are following up with store management.
14A purse containing $653 was stolen from a locked vehicle at Mulligan's Irish Pub & Grille, 8933 S. 27th St., between 6 and 7:45 p.m. Nov. 29. A car window was smashed to gain entry.
15An employee called police after an unidentified person shoplifted an undetermined amount of clothes by concealing them in two black garbage bags at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., about 5:30 p.m. Nov. 30. The person, who was wearing a green knit cap and a light brown overcoat, was last seen getting on a Milwaukee County Transit bus headed north on 27th Street.
16A 26-year-old Oak Creek woman was arrested for shoplifting clothing and pet supplies at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 6:23 p.m. Nov. 30.
17A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting and carrying a concealed weapon after officers found a 9mm gun in her purse after she was caught concealing merchandise at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 4:10 p.m. Dec. 1.
18A 36-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting, seventh offense, after she was seen concealing merchandise in a black garbage bag at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., after 8 p.m. Dec. 1. The same woman is a suspect in a similar shoplifting incident at the Franklin Walmart on Nov. 30.
19A 33-year-old Franklin man was arrested for battery after he physically assaulted a woman at a home in the 9500 block of South Ryan Green Court shortly before 3 p.m. Dec. 1.
20Police are seeking a 32-year-old Milwaukee woman for questioning after she allegedly stole a $300 Samsung Galaxy S2 cell phone, a $100 Blackberry cell phone and $50 cash from a residence in the 8100 block of South 100thStreet at 3:30 a.m. Nov. 30. The victim told police he fell asleep after the suspect asked to use his cell phone to make a call, and when he woke up at 4:50 a.m. the victim and items were missing.
21A 40-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for operating after suspension and possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle after he was seen slumped over his steering wheel while in traffic in the 3300 block of West Rawson Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. Dec. 1. The suspect woke up and traveled westbound on Rawson, then eastbound into the lot of Andy's, where officers took him into custody. His blood alcohol content was .10.
22Outdoor Christmas decorations were vandalized in the 6600 block of South 118th Street before 11:30 p.m. Dec. 1.
23A residential mailbox was knocked off its foundation in the 8800 block of South 35th Street prior to 2:25 p.m. Dec. 2.
24A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she began slamming doors and threw urine that had been in a bottle on the floor at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital, 10101 S. 27th St., at 3:20 a.m. Nov. 27.
25A 28-year-old Greenfield man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and cited for a seatbelt violation during a traffic stop in the 6700 block of South 27th Street at 2:50 p.m. Nov. 28.
26A 52-year-old Franklin man was cited for littering after he was seen placing garbage randomly around his yard, causing it to blow into neighbors' yards, and was seen kicking cans off his lawn into the street in the 6900 block of South Brian Court shortly before 8 a.m. Nov. 29. He was cited a second time for littering after he was seen putting garbage in his yard again the morning of Nov. 30.
27A 17-year-old boy was cited for disorderly conduct after he made a threat to an associate principal, then locked and barricaded himself in a room at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., shortly after 10 a.m. Nov. 29.
28A 33-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man, both of Greenfield, were cited for making harassing phone calls to a resident in the 6900 block of South Riverwood Boulevard at 3:45 a.m. Dec. 1.
29A resident called police after he saw either a bobcat or lynx near the Oak Leaf Bike Trail in the 6400 block of West Drexel Avenue at 4 a.m. Dec. 1. The caller stated he saw the animal as he was driving through the area.
30An 18-year-old Mukwonago man was arrested for obstructing an officer after he lied to police while they were investigating a vehicle found in a ditch along Ryan Road at St. Martins Road at 2:40 a.m. Dec. 2.
31Firefighters and police officers responded to a garbage fire in the driveway of a residence in the 4500 block of West Oakwood Road at 8:50 p.m. Nov. 27. The renter stated her garbage can and recycling bin were placed at the end of the drive, and she didn't think she had had anything flammable inside. Both the garbage cans melted; the cause of the fire is unknown.
Franklin police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with two rescue calls and one fire call between Nov. 25 and Dec. 3.
