ROBBERY

1An unidentified man stole a purse out of a woman's hands while she was at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., about 10 a.m. Oct. 26. The man, described as a five-foot, 10-inch tall black man with a medium build wearing blue jeans and a burnt orange-colored jacket, fled the area.

BURGLARY

2A laptop computer and $13,000 were stolen from a home in the 4900 block of West Devinshire Drive between 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19 and 11:08 p.m. Oct. 21. There was no forced entry to the residence, but the victim stated he has four current employees and one former employee that know the code to his garage and know where he hides his cash. Police are following up.

3Cash totaling $8,733 was taken from a locked office safe at Culver's, 4220 W. Oakwood Park Court, about 2 a.m. Oct. 21. Someone turned off the alarm at 2:08 a.m. and pried open the locked safe to gain access to the deposits. Police are investigating.

THEFT

4A debit card was stolen from an employee at Lake Pointe Manor, 8781 W. Travis Court, and used to make fraudulent purchases between 1 p.m. Oct. 9 and noon Oct. 23. Police have a suspect and are investigating.

5A wallet containing a credit card and debit card was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 4900 block of West Forest Hill Avenue prior to 9 a.m. Oct. 19. The cards were used fraudulently to make purchases.

6A 31-year-old Franklin man was arrested for stealing a cased drill and a grinder, a value of $165, from an unlocked basement storage area in the 6300 block of South 35th Street at 10:45 a.m. Oct. 19. The man ditched some items in some bushes after he was confronted by a witness, then he hugged the witness for some unknown reason. The items were recovered.

7Four coils, a $600 value, were stolen from Steam Cleaning, 3128 W. Ryan Road, between 5 p.m. Oct. 19 and 7 a.m. Oct. 22.

8A 1996 Dodge Caravan was stolen at the Sunrise Motel, 9347 S. 27th St., at 11 p.m. Oct. 19. The victim told police a woman he knew only as "Red" took his car and failed to return it.

9A 2010 Toro Workman HDX utility vehicle was stolen from Oakwood Golf Course, 3600 W. Oakwood Road, between Oct. 19 and 7 a.m. Oct. 20.

10Sixteen windows, a value of $4,565, were stolen from a home under construction in the 5000 block of West Cardinal Lane between 5 p.m. Oct. 20 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 22.

11Prescription pads were stolen from a doctor at Innovative Pain, 3111 W. Rawson Ave., prior to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 21. The pads were used to fraudulently purchase drugs at Walgreens stores in Milwaukee. An investigation is ongoing.

12An iPhone 4S was stolen after it was placed on a bench at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex, 6000 W. Ryan Road, at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 21.

13A radio was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle at Sam's Club, 6705 S. 27th St., between 10:45 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. Oct. 22.

14A stereo was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle at Jimmy John's, 6533 S. 27th St., between 6 and 9:30 p.m. Oct. 23.

15A political sign was stolen from a yard in the 9500 block of West Prairie Grass Way prior to 1:45 p.m. Oct. 24. Other election signs in the neighborhood were not taken; an extra watch was requested in the area until Election Day.

16A 20-year-old man was arrested for stealing jewelry and prescription medication from a relative's home in the 10100 block of West Whitnall Edge Drive at 11:56 p.m. Oct. 26.

ASSAULT

17An unidentified male grabbed an 18-year-old woman by the arm and struck her on the head during an underage drinking party in the 4000 block of West College Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. Oct. 23. The woman stated she grabbed a fork and stabbed the man in the arm, then fled the house and called police. Police are still trying to identify the man.

18A 65-year-old Franklin man was arrested for second-degree sexual assault in connection with an assault on a 55-year-old woman in the 3300 block of West College Avenue at 4:15 a.m. Oct. 27.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

19A 50-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, fourth offense, and on a Greenfield Police Department warrant for contempt of court in the parking lot at Sendik's, 5200 W. Rawson Ave., at 11:25 p.m. Oct. 26. His blood was drawn to determine his blood-alcohol content; results were not available.

ACCIDENTS

20A 17-year-old Franklin boy was cited for failing to maintain control of a vehicle, speeding and leaving the scene of an accident after he struck another vehicle on Marquette Avenue at 37th Place at 6:25 p.m. Oct. 20.

21A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to the hospital after he ran a red light and struck a semi-trailer at the intersection of 27th Street and Rawson Avenue at 11:58 a.m. Oct. 22. He was cited for disregarding a traffic signal and a seatbelt violation.

OTHER

22A 16-year-old Franklin girl was arrested for underage drinking at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., at 8:55 p.m. Oct. 19. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.12.

23A counterfeit $5 bill was passed at Culver's, 4220 W. Oakwood Park Court, between 5 and 10 p.m. Oct. 22.

24A 52-year-old Franklin man was cited for misuse of 911 in the 6900 block of South Brian Court on Oct. 23. The man called 911 at 11:34 a.m. Oct. 10, went off on a tangent and then told the dispatcher if officers set foot on his property he will consider it trespassing.

25A 19-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he repeatedly shouted an obscenity into a 22-year-old woman's face and causing a disturbance in front of store patrons in the parking lot at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 11:50 p.m. Oct. 23.

26A 16-year-old boy was arrested for obstructing an officer in the 7300 block of South North Cape Road at 3:20 p.m. Oct. 24.

27A 15-year-old boy was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 9000 block of South 27th Street shortly before 3:30 p.m. Oct. 24. The boy pushed his mother down after she slapped him during an argument.

28Two 14-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy, all of Franklin, were arrested for carrying a concealed weapon after they were found carrying brass knuckles at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., at 12:20 p.m. Oct. 25.

29A resident called police Oct. 26 to report he found deer entrails and a large amount of blood on the Milwaukee County grounds behind his residence in the 6900 block of South Park View Court at 10:15 a.m. Oct. 15. The resident also found a man-made blind in the same area where the deer remains were located. Police contacted a Department of Natural Resources warden and are following up.

30A 35-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct at The Rock Sports Complex, 7900 W. Crystal Ridge Drive, at 9:50 p.m. Oct. 27. The man put a lighted cigarette lighter in front of an actor's face, causing him pain during The Hills Have Eyes haunted house. He said it was an accident.

31A resident in the 8800 block of West Knoll Court called police after someone rang her doorbell and left a burning pile of debris on her front porch at 10:50 p.m. Oct. 28. The bag that was on fire contained a block of cheese and some leaves; the fire was put out prior to the officer's arrival.

Franklin police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with six rescue calls between Oct. 19 and Oct. 29.
