Puechner-Cacchione

Mary Puechner and Joe Cacchione of Franklin were married Sept. 17, 2011, at Layton Avenue Baptist Church in Greenfield.

Parents of the bride are Jim and Nancy Puechner of Franklin. The groom's parents are Bob and Tammy Paquette and late Rev. Joseph Cacchione of Hartford.

The Rev. Marvin Willyard officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Oak Creek Community Center in Oak Creek.

The bride wore a white, strapless, A-line gown with lace, sequins and pearls.

Samantha Knuff of Green Bay, cousin of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Crystal Christensen of West Allis, Adrienne Ballew of Albuquerque, N.M., Rachel Puechner of Atlanta, Ga., and Liz Huxsol of Milwaukee.

Ryan Fleming of Menomonee Falls, friend of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Tony Cacchione of Olympia, Wash., John Bremer and Freddie Schindler of Waukesha, and Nick Nelson of Germantown.

The ushers were Andy Puechner of Albuquerque, N.M., David Puechner of Austin, Texas, and Mitch Coe of Milwaukee.

The bride earned her bachelor's degree in journalism/mass communication and psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a senior account coordinator with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in Milwaukee.

The groom earned his bachelor's degree in marketing/advertising from UW-Whitewater. He is an account manager for Direct Supply Inc. in Milwaukee.

The couple planned a seven-day honeymoon on the island of Aruba.
