Alyssa Lynn Leonard and Corey James Geldernick of Wausau are planning an Aug. 11, 2012, wedding at Horseshoe Bay Golf Club in Egg Harbor in Door County.
Parents of the couple are Tom and Cathy Leonard of Franklin and Richard and Karolyn Geldernick of Chili.
The bride-to-be earned her bachelor's degree in interpersonal communication and psychology. She is a school counselor at Rhinelander High School.
The future groom earned his bachelor's degree in sociology and psychology. He is a police officer in the village of Rothschild.
The couple became engaged Feb. 14, 2011, in Wausau.
