Robin Bettinger and Adam Thiel of Milwaukee were married June 30, 2012, at Weissgerber's Seven Seas in Hartland.
The bride's parents are Carl and Christine Bettinger of Franklin. Parents of the groom are Peggy Thiel of York, Penn., and the late Alan Thiel.
The Rev. Suellen Myers officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony overlooking Lake Nagawicka, which was followed by the reception in the Seven Seas ballroom.
The bride wore an ivory satin strapless Alfred Angelo gown. A crystal and rhinestone detailed tan sash accented the A-line gown.
Wendy Halser and Holly Bettinger, the bride's sisters, were matron and maid of honor. Bridesmaids were friends of the bride Nicole Steil, Andrea Kitzerow and Meagan Grill.
Matt Thiel, the groom's brother, was the best man. Groomsmen were Nick Hansen, Pat Koleske, Andy Bertschy and Luke Garrow.
Maddie Halser, the bride's niece, was the flower girl, and nephew Joey Halser was the ring bearer.
The bride graduated from Oak Creek High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at St. Luke's Medical Center Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit in Milwaukee.
The groom is an Appleton West High School and UW-Madison graduate. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science and works for SC Johnson as a global supply analyst.
The couple plans to honeymoon in the fall by taking a cruise of the Eastern Caribbean.
