Jennifer Schlie of Franklin and Christopher Reed of Milton are planning a June 26, 2010, wedding at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Parish in Franklin.

Parents of the engaged couple are Al and Cheryl Schlie of Franklin and Steve and Karen Reed of Milton.

The bride-to-be, a graduate of Franklin High School, earned her bachelor's degree and teaching certification from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a social studies teacher at Tremper High School in Kenosha.

The future groom, a graduate of Milton High School, earned his bachelor's degree in film studies from UW-Milwaukee. He is a customer service representative at Maritime Savings Bank.

The future groom proposed to the bride-to-be by writing a short story describing their relationship. The next chapter of their story began with the proposal.
