Katrina Troeger of Sycamore, Ill., and Travis Nickels of Franklin, formerly of Oak Creek, are planning a June 5, 2010, wedding at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in Milwaukee.
Parents of the engaged couple are Ralph Troeger of Union, Ill., Rita Troeger of Rockford, Ill., Tommy Nickels of Layton, Utah, and Janet Nickels of Franklin.
The bride-to-be earned her bachelor's degree in interpersonal communication from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She is a career services coordinator at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.
The future groom earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Marquette University and his master's degree in business administration from Keller Graduate School of Management in Milwaukee. He is an engineering buyer for Briggs and Stratton and co-owner of Ferch's Malt Shoppe & Grille in Franklin.
The couple became engaged on Oct. 13, 2009, at Veterans Park.
