Nicole Sliwinski of Greendale and Kyle Hass of McGregor, Iowa, are planning an Aug. 22, 2009, wedding at Country Springs Hotel, Pewaukee.
Parents of the engaged couple are Jim and Linda Sliwinski, Greendale, and Rick and Roberta Hass, McGregor.
The bride-to-be received her cosmetology license from VICI Aveda Institute in 2005 and recently earned her instructors license of cosmetology at Milwaukee Area Technical College. She is an instructor of cosmetology at VICI Aveda Institute of Milwaukee.
The future groom completed a four-year enlistment with U.S. Coast Guard in 2005 and is pursuing his bachelor's degree in communications at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is a supervisor at UPS.
The couple became engaged in July 2007 in the north woods of Wisconsin at sunset on a pier.
