Donald N. Thorgaard
Donald N. Thorgaard of Greendale, formerly of Franklin, died Feb. 26, 2009, at age 84.
He was a proud Marine Corps veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 192 of Franklin. He retired as assistant chief deputy clerk, Clerk of Courts, Milwaukee County. Upon retirement, he and his wife Jodeen became avid world travelers.
He is survived by his children, Paul (Nancy) Thorgaard and Cheryl (Charles) Reid; grandchildren, Scott and Matthew Thorgaard, and Caroline Reid; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Jodeen (nee Valesano).
Time of gathering will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 9501 W. Drexel Ave., Franklin. Memorial service will follow at 4 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Risen Savior Lutheran Church.
Church and Chapel Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
