Carly Julin and Christopher Halusan were married Feb. 28, 2008, in a civil ceremony at the Kenosha County Courthouse. They renewed their vows Oct. 4, 2008, at Bella Vista, Lake Geneva.

Parents of the bride are Charles and Kathe Julin, Stevens Point, and Dennis and Brenda Hensleigh, New Berlin. Parents of the groom are Richard Halusan, Franklin, and Carol Fields, Kenosha.

The Rev. Russell Goodwin officiated.

The bride wore an ivory, vintage, strapless dress of lace with beading and a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of red roses accented with calla lilies.

Matron of honor was Erica Fletcher, Waukesha, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jenna White, Madison; and Ashley Kidd, Madison.

Best man was Brian Halusan, Republic of Georgia, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Chad Blazek, Hartland; and Kurt Brandstaetter, Lakewood, Ohio.

Flower girl was Milan Blazek, Hartland, niece of the groom. Ring bearer was Boden Blazek, Hartland, nephew of the groom.

The bride graduated from VICI Beauty School in 2007 and is a stylist at Sport Clips, Kenosha.

The groom is a master-at-arms petty officer first class stationed at Naval Health Clinic, Great Lakes, Ill.

The couple honeymooned in California and resides in Kenosha. They will transfer to Norfolk, Va., in January 2009 for three years when the groom reports to the USS Cole.
