Tracy Strachota and Tim Wellner were married May 30, 2008, at St. Mary’s, Hales Corners.

Parents of the bride are Mark and Vickie Strachota, Greendale. Parents of the groom are Dave and Liz Wellner, Waukesha.

The Rev. Stephen Forrest officiated the 3:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Milwaukee County Zoo Peck Center.

Matron of honor was Tricia Ward, Greendale, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Brings, Greendale; Kim Stangel, Milwaukee; Lisa Kiriaki, Sturtevant; Trina Menges, Madison; Kelly Dobson, Bay View; and Sarah Gottlieb, Chicago.

Best man was Michael Wellner, Waukesha, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Andy Strachota, Greendale; Jeff Wiegel, Milwaukee; Joe Flood, Arizona; Joe Haas, Sun Prairie; Michael Goedhere, West Milwaukee; and Jay Gaephke, Wauwatosa.

The bride, who earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is a social worker at Froedtert Hospital. She enjoys marathon running, traveling and reading.

The groom, who earned his bachelor’s degree at UW-Milwaukee, is a workers’ compensation claims investigator. He enjoys football and baseball.

The couple honeymooned in Jamaica for one week and resides in Greendale.
