Castaneda-Renick

Yvonne Castaneda and Joesph Renick of Brentwood, Mo., were married Feb. 12, 2011, at the Immaculate Conception Chapel at Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico.

Parents of the bride are Flavio and Yvonne Castaneda of Laredo, Texas. Parents of the groom are Robert and Ellen Renick of Franklin.

The Rev. Joseph Mary of Illinois and the Rev. J. Benito of Mexico officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed April 9 at Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners.

Denysse Castaneda of Bloomington, Ind., sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Brooke Ramsey of St. Louis, Mo.

Andrew Renick of Franklin, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsman was John Renick of Franklin.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Peoria, Ill., a 2006 graduate of St. Louis University with degrees in psychology and Spanish, and a 2008 graduate of Barnes Jewish Hospital College of Nursing. She is a nurse in the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Marquette University High School in Milwaukee, a 2006 graduate of St. Louis University with a degree in aerospace engineering, and a 2009 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He is an attorney adviser with the Social Security Administration in St. Louis.

The couple planned a one-week honeymoon in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
