I would like to ssee a Joe's Crab Shack
and a Frickers.

I have been to Carino's Italian in other parts of the country. They are very good.

We need restaurants in Franklin,
Chipotle for a healthy fast food alternative. P.F. Changs, Cheesecake Factory, Panera, Claim Jumpers. We need better restaurants in this area, we pale in comparison to Bay Shore and Mayfair - Tosa.

- Marianne, Franklin,WI

Franklin has a severe lack in chain restaurants. Chains I'd like to see in Franklin are:

Cheesecake Factory
Cheeburger Cheeburger
Maggiano's Little Italy
TGI Friday's
Applebee's (so we can put up some Franklin Sabers gear and other hometown stuff)
Devon Seafood Grill
Bar Louie
Bahama Breeze

Some local restaurants I'd like to see in Franklin are:

Bartolotta's
Mo's Irish Pub
Eddie Martinis

Locations in Franklin for these restaurants could be:

Shoppes at Wyndham Village (restaurant pad still open)
Fountains of Franklin
Franklin Business Park
Hwy 100 & Loomis (Shoppes at Legend Creek)
76th & Rawson (carve a pad out in one of the strip mall parking lots)

- Greg Kowalski, Franklin, WI

I also agree that the intersection of Hwy 100 and Loomis needs something - but we need a restaurant that provides table service and has a menu to look at - not another fast food/drive thru like Sonic! Although at this point - I think I'd take just about anything! Especially on THAT corner!

Calif Pizza Kitchen! Panera's! Buffalo Wild Wings!

- Susan, Franklin WI

Preferred restaurants for Franklin:
McCormick & Schmick's
P.F. Chang's
Cheesecake Factory
Morton's Steak House
Kinkead's
Fish Market
Joey Buona's Pizzaria & Restaurant
Red Robin
Uno's Pizza
Melting Pot
a good Indian restaurant
a good Japanese (sushi) restaurant
a good tapas restaurant
a good/authentic 1950's diner

- Jeanine Olson, Franklin, WI

A hip downtown-ish upscale restaurant that attracts the martini crowd for happy hour and great seafood and steak. We needv a classy joint.

Second choice is a nordstom!

- Sophy, franklin, WI

I agree that the intersection of Hwy 100 & Loomis needs something... anything. How about:
- Steak'n'Shake
- Carlos O'Kelly's (mexican cafe)
- Cheddar's
- Happy Joe's (known for their taco pizza)

- Nena, Franklin, WI

I would love to see a SONIC Drive In in the Franklin area, they advertise so much on the cable networks up here and have such a variety of great looking drinks/food.

The "eyesore" on the corner of Hwy 100/Loomis (36) would be a great spot!!!

- Debe, Franklin, WI

Here's our list of restaurants we like to go to that aren't in Franklin or too inconvenient to go to often.

In the Milwaukee area but too far:
-Caribou Coffee
-Original Pancake House
-Buffalo Wild Wings (New Berlin is kinda far)
-Famous Dave's (27th St is even too far)
-California Pizza Kitchen
-Steak and Shake
-maybe a 2nd Culvers on the north side of Franklin?

Places we like to go when traveling that might be a good fit for Franklin:
-Bob Evans
-Chick fil A
-Don Pablo's Mexican Kitchen
-Lone Star

We definitely need an "attraction" or a "destination" for some of these to come here I'm sure - it can't help that Southridge is so close.

- Joel Trettin, Franklin, WI

A Panera would be nice.

- Sue Lenz, Franklin, WI

While the large chains are nice, it's true they won't build too far away from major retail developments like malls. I think a restaurant like Mo's Irish Pub or a brew-pub would be a nice fit. Casual enough to bring the kids yet upscale enough to go out with friends for happy hour, etc...

- Laurie Self, Franklin, WI

When we want a good breakfast, we
drive to Kenosha and Cracker Barrel.
Franklin could have the first in Milwaukee County.

- Kay, Franklin, Wi

Seems all the franchise restaurants are located 'North'. I would love to see something like "The Cheesecake Factory" or "PF Chang's" possibly be located in Franklin. How about the northeast corner of Hwy 100 and Loomis???...that old building there has been vacant for many years and it sure is an eyesore. ANY other fine dining or even family style restaurants (whatever and whoever owned or ran them) would be also welcomed, as Franklin really does have severly limited choices.
