State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) issued 2013 Reported Induced Abortions in Wisconsin. The annual report reveals there were 6,251 abortions induced within Wisconsin’s borders during 2013, down 441 induced abortions during 2012. According to the report, the year with the highest number induced abortions performed within Wisconsin was 1980 with 21,754. 2013 is the year with the lowest recorded number of abortions induced.

The report titled Border wars: Illinois vs Wisconsin reveals more than 3,900 Illinoisans and $100 million in annual income came to Wisconsin during 2010. The report explains between 1995 and 2010 our neighbors to the south lost 35,927 taxpayers and $2.5 billion in total income to Wisconsin.
