State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

This month the Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau (LAB) released audits about the Wisconsin Retirement System – Actuarial Audit, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation – Department of Workforce Development, and the State Investment Fund.
In its fifth year, the Big Bundle Up is an annual charity drive that invites Wisconsin residents and travelers to donate warm winter items for those in need. Tourism organizations across the state collect new or gently used coats, mittens, hats, scarves, snow pants, and other warm clothing items that are then donated to local charities. The program has been a great success, collecting more than 49,300 items for those in need across Wisconsin. For more information, click here.
