I know I am biased. I think my daughter is the most beautiful creature God ever put on this planet. Every parent thinks their daughter is the prettiest thing they’ve ever laid eyes on.
Here's to moms...
Every year, my mom would recount a past Mother’s Day conversation she had with a friend. Although she possessed some very good qualities, Dorothy was an extremely materialistic woman and could speak without thinking. She asked my mom what she got for Mother’s Day and mom proudly explained that I had made her a hand print on a cork disk to hang on the wall. “That’s all you got was a hand print? I got a brand new T.V.” Well let me tell you, that hand print meant more to my mother than any electronic device. I highly doubt Dorothy held on to her T.V. years after it stopped working for sentimental value. My handprint, however, was safely tucked into a memory box that held dozens of other “money can’t buy” treasures for my mom.
