Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD

A couple of weeks ago, I was in a hurry to get dressed.  As I rushed to grab what I thought was MY Notre Dame t-shirt, I mistakenly donned Kyla’s which was hanging right next to mine.  I pulled it over my head and thought to myself, “Geez, I know I like to eat but what HAPPENED????!!!!”  Then I realized I had the wrong “Go Irish” apparel on.  As I breathed a sigh of relief (and reached for another slice of pizza) I wondered how I could have been so silly.

How much do you spend bribing your kids?

Kyla has a cute little ceramic princess piggy bank that she got from Santa a couple years ago.  She fell in love with it and desperately wanted it, so I told her she could ask for it for Christmas.  We have the tradition in our home that Santa only brings one gift, and a modest one at that.  I have my reasons why.

Thanks, Festa!


We’re really looking forward to going to Festa Italiana this afternoon.  Naturally one of MY favorite reasons to go is the FOOD.  Oh.  My.  Goodness.  From wonderful Italian wines to cannoli that seem to be made by seraphim, I’m never at a loss for great treats.  And thanks to a fantastic website, I can figure out my eating schedule in advance.
