Baptista's Expands in Franklin
The City of Franklin has been working with Baptista's since January on this project. It will bring nearly $14 million in property tax base and an additional 200 jobs to Franklin. Here is the press release that was sent to me this morning:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – September 8, 2011
Congratulations Franklin Sabers Baseball. Back to Back State Champs!!!
I was fortunate to be able to make it to the State Baseball Tournament in Stevens Point and watch our Sabers win the State Title. All three games had the feeling of riding a roller coaster at Great America.
Congratulations Franklin Sabers and Good Luck at State!!!
Congratulations Franklin on reaching State for the 3rd straight year. The Franklin Sabers defeated Oak Creak 7-2 in the WIAA Sectional Championship game played today at South Milwaukee. The Sabers jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the 1st inning and they never looked back while sophomore Evan Kruczynski pitched a complete game four hitter.
